  Hello all,It's been a little while since the last communication, so just wanted to give a quick studio update to keep everyone informed about the state of affairs here.Firstly, a HUGE thank you to all the current players, and also everyone who has given the game a shot and provided crucial feedback. • 10 DAY EARLY ACCESS UPDATE - 16 July 2026

  10 days into Early Access Update just some insight into how things have gone the first 10 days of EA release. firstly thanks to everyone for the support and interest in Desolation Seed. the first 10 days have been successful. since launch the game has gained 40,000 wishlists! and it's incredibly motivating to see the community and interest continuing to grow. right now we are working on getting the next major content update out. we will most likely have a private beta build for it before releasing to the general public. if you are interested in play testing the beta build please reach out in PM. Steam Reviews reviews have been teetering from "mostly positive" to recently "mixed". we definitely take every review into consideration. most players have been forgiving about the presence of bugs and it being in EA. some haven't. most of the negative reviews do provide valid criticism and valu…

  though we will continue to smooth issues out as they are discovered and reported this is hopefully the last patch focused exclusively on sanity and the last small patch before shifting the majority of attention to the next major content update This patch includes numerous quality of life improvements and bug fixes along with a few small content additions : new NPC dialogue lines also unlocking the base melee system earlier since we've had quite a few requests to do so Thanks again everyone for the continued interest and for the bug reports and feedback

  biggest quality patch yet numerous bug fixes audio settings not saving - fixed widescreen support 1.0 still some adjustments to be made but things are feeling smoother and overall sanity levels have improved. we are getting closer to exiting the EA launch day trenches and moving into focusing on content updates. now is a great time to check back in and play the game if you haven't picked it up since launch day you should have an overall smoother experience again thanks to everyone for the support means a lot and thanks to the community who have reported issues and provided feedback more soon ECS

  A certain global videogame platform continues to deny our store page siting Early Access question errors..after the third attempt to satisfy them via changing the wording .we are beginning to suspect they aren't even reading the updated store page.maybe we are dealing with bots or in some automation hell loop but they keep siting the same issues and wording even though the words have been changed and publicly updated for over a week and a half now"Failure: Your store page has failed review because your Early Access answer doesn't explain how the pricing will change during and after Early Access. • QUICK RELEASE UPDATE - 25 June 2026

  Just a quick update on Desolation Seed release. there was a last minute mix up on our Steam store page related to wording in the Early Access questionnaire which needed to be corrected in order for the game to be eligible for a Early Access launch.Steam says it takes 3-5 days for the page to be re-reviewed . we've requested that it be expeditated but Valve is a small team and we just have to play the waiting game. it will be released immediately after the new questionnaire answers are approved apologies for anyone waiting and thanks for the support. also let us know if you would be into the idea of a community discord and what type topics and stuff you'd like to see in there?thank you !-ECS
