  Alpha Demo Hotfix 0.4.1 is now available for download, fixing a couple of critical issues with 0.4.0.Addressing the elephant in the roomYou might have seen some news or social media posts talking about a recent critical issue with the Unity engine, affecting every game built on engine versions 2017.1 onwards. Alpha Demo 0.4.0 runs on Unity 2020.3, so we've been hit by the same issue and have immediately taken action.0.4.1 upgrades to a safe, patched version of Unity, in which this issue has been safely fixed.   Alpha Demo 0.3.0, the Reinforcements Update, is now available to download and play! This update brings with it a full balance rework of the entire game, and new tools at both you and your enemies' disposal. Due to the extensive changes to the game's internal systems, your current run will be reset when booting 0.3.0. All other progression in your save file is unaffected. What's new? Reinforcement Waves At regular time intervals, or under certain conditions, new waves of allies and/or enemies will spawn mid-mission! You'll find that missions in 0.3.0 stay packed with enemies to fight, and if you're not careful missions can snowball out of control as more and more enemies attack you at once. • Nova Squadron Alpha Demo 0.1.0 is out now! - 26 January 2023

  The Nova Squadron alpha demo is now available to play on Windows and Linux via Proton! So what's in the demo? You'll have access to the first four procedural missions of the roguelite campaign, and use Credits to upgrade your plane mid-campaign - whether you win or lose, you'll keep all the Renown you earned in that campaign and be able to buy permanent upgrades afterwards, then go into another campaign attempt on the same or a different difficulty. There's no time limit, so feel free to hunt down every part and buy every Research Point! How's the controller support? 0.1.0 has full controller support via Steam Input, so it should support anything that Steam itself recognises. You can also remap and customise your control scheme via the interface in the Steam client.
