• Exploration Mode Update - 16 April 2025

  New Game A = Action Mode New Game B = Exploration Mode Route A is the original game. Route B could be described as a mini metroidvania. Explore a new version of the Entangled Planet with remixed levels and boss encounters, with some unused assets added back in for a few new surprises. This update is free to everyone who already purchased the game, so don't expect too much new content. That said, this game mode is pretty much a completely new game. It is coming together nicely and should be releasing sometime this year or in 2026.

• Steam Achievements! - 28 April 2023

  In the most recent update, we have added 12 achievements along with an assortment of new art assets to polish the overall product. Many more of these updates will be published over the coming months, so be on the lookout. Happy achievement hunting! Note: You might need to start a fresh playthrough to ensure the updates are working properly....

• The Tribulation Entanglement (Major Content Update) - 21 April 2023

  The Tribulation Entanglement has received its FIRST major content update of 2023. The first of multiple free game-expanding updates planned to release over the coming months. This first update adds / fixes / rebalances / and rearranges much of the game's original content. Updates are as follows: Rebalanced bosses Rebalanced enemies Altered enemy placements Altered level layouts to improve playability Death traps have been altered or removed to reduce player frustration Health upgrade hearts are more visible now (they pulse to draw the player's attention) "Block breaking" segments have been trimmed to a minimum Various art assets have been added across the board Minor bug fixes Note that this is only the first game changing update coming in 2023. • The Tribulation Entanglement - First Major Update - 20 April 2022

  There have been various updates to the overall game, such as updates to the keyboard controls, difficulty changes, and bug fixes. The major updates are as follows: Keyboard inputs have been changed to a more standard setup: The arrow keys are for movement and menu selections, Z is for jump, X is for attack, and C is sub attack. Enter is now the keyboard's "start / pause button." This should help resolve initial user confusion. Next, the difficulty. I removed the "kill dragon to activate hard mode" thing. It seems many players have accidentally thrown themselves into hard mode and it negatively impacted their experience. I hope this change makes the exploration and difficulty more balanced and fun. Hard mode essentially deletes the health upgrades found throughout the world and removing these increased the difficulty, as well as reduced the fun of exploration. Hopefully this change is mo…
