- Update 0.3.46 - 16 September 2026
Hi everyone!A small content update that adds a romance scene with the legates after completing the library content. This is text-heavy fivesome (FFFF-player) scene for both male and female players. Some may remember parts of it from the original demo. It provides some characterization and is a teaser for later scenes. You can access it by returning to your apartment after choosing a lineage affiliation at the library. Interacting with the door will have another knock option.Additionally, several small bugs have been fixed including an exploit to gain endless trust with Iron Gregarion, and a bug where some overworld contracts don't pay on completion.Thank you!
- Hotfix 0.3.45 - 1 September 2026

- August Content Update 0.3.44 now live! - 31 August 2026
Hi everyone, the August content update has now been released on Steam. It adds story and worldbuilding content to the game as well as finally introducing the vampires into the open, at least for the player.Going off where the July update left off, once you complete Ha-Yora and Ulyosha’s tasks, as well as informing Azedah that her contract is being worked on, you can return to Iolanthe to continue the story. A new location will be available in the overworld map: The Consulate. We are returning to the Infinite Library! The library is a mysterious location that exists in Interstitial Space, and room has been carved out for a diplomatic establishment between the different vampire lineages. The Consulate is hosted by the Corvan, a minor lineage known for ritualized divination. I won’t spoil too much but there will be lore, tests and rituals for the player to go on. At the end of the current…

- Preview for the end of July update - 23 July 2026
Hi everyone,Below are a bunch of hopefully evocative screenshots for the content that will be added at the end of July. One of the major concerns during the Early Access launch was the current length of the game, especially story content, so this will be the main thing I'll be addressing for the upcoming update. In preparing for the launch, I expected that 5-7 hours would be a good length, as that is more than Memoirs had in its Early Access debut. However, a lot has changed between making a 2D RPGMaker project and a 3D UE5 one, including audience expectations. And I want you guys to demand more. Ravenously. It says I'm going in the right direction. So I will be pursuing these updates aggressively. We have already moved from "this game is impossible for a solodev" to "it's possible, but needs more."The sentiment I eventually want, of course, is "this is achieving its potential." And there…
- Hotfix 0.3.36 - 9 July 2026
Fixed an issue where the autosave can activate before inventory loaded, causing it to remove inventory items upon load. New autosaves should no longer have this issue. Please let me know if any other problems show up.

Beautification of Boxtown, including fixing non-enterable areas, adding a different city skyline on the horizon, different visual exits leading out of the hub, new buildings in the distance, etc. Players can now exit the Stolen Package location manually by interacting with the large door at the entrance.Various other minor changes.
- First Week of Early Access Finished! - 2 July 2026
Hi everyone! We have closed out the first week of the Early Access launch and I think it has been very successful. I only have two testing desktops, so one of my biggest worries was running into difficult-to-solve technical issues on a wider range of setups. Thankfully, not too many of these popped up. I also really appreciate everyone who chimed in with bugs and suggestions. Fortunately, many of the bugs seem to be restricted to a handful of common issues, the most critical of which have been fixed in the two patches released so far. I have also implemented several quality-of-life improvements and will probably be doing this on a rolling basis as needed.Early Access is especially important for solodevs like me because I’m only working from my own perspective, which means a lot of things slip past me. Having a lot more eyes on the game to point out things I may have missed is invaluable.…
- New Patch: Naika 0.3.34 - 30 June 2026
Hi everyone, a new patch is here. QoL additionsAdded Descriptive Text in addition to True Percentage as ways to display hit chance in combat. This can be toggled in the Gameplay settings menu.Combat ability shortcuts now accept both number row and numeric keypad/numpad inputs. Bug fixesThe two fights against the unknown assailants had a bug where player units could spawn outside their designated spaces, this should be fixed. After receiving the end of Early Access message some players are stuck in a dialogue loop if they l…
- Patch Naika 0.3.33 - 27 June 2026
Hi everyone, the first patch of the game is here! FWIW I actually expected way more bugs, but the progression bugs are fairly critical and I expect to fully rework them rather than keep working with a flawed system. Bugs fixedProgression menu: Unlocked all nodes to counter the node locking bug. Loading a saved game to duplicate skill points exploit removed. Preparing for revamp of the progression system. Argres’s shop console removed.Loose floor panel in the Black Market, leading to players falling through, fixed.Motives were listed as nonfunctional, which is incorrect and fixed.Removed unintentional dialogue triggers in the Bloodpit and parking garage. QoL additionsY-axis invert option made functional.F, G and other keys can now be re-bound, along with quick keys for closing loot/vendor menus, taking items, and taking all items.Added an Exit to Title Menu option in combat and character…
- 3-Month Post-launch Roadmap - 26 June 2026
Hi everyone! The launch went great! Players found a lot of bugs that I’ll be patching soon, and I'll be implementing some quality-of-life additions, combat balancing and other suggestions. Especially for the progression skill trees. Look for that to come out soon and to continue on a rolling basis as needed. In the meantime here is my plan for the next three months in terms of content updates. Updates will be released at the very end of the month and are of course, subject to change. JulyEdit: this update is now live: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1833570/eventcomments/580552228184786890?snr=1_2108_9__2107New story content:After the events of the early game, the player is introduced to some familiars (high-ranking human servants) of the vampire lineages, and slowly submerged into a dangerous underworld controlled by immortal, morally alien, predators. If the player is not a Travelers Ma…

Expect a roadmap to appear soon.Beta testers: If you played the early Beta, you will notice a lot has changed! If you played the Beta during the last few days, the game will have been close to an EA state already, as I have been pushing rolling updates.
- Launching Tomorrow - 24 June 2026
Hi everyone! This is just a personal message from me, the dev, on the eve of the Early Access launch on the 25th. This is an exciting time for me and I intend to spend the next few days essentially glued to my computer, handling questions, suggestions and patching. The thing about being a solodev is that I’m also the only customer service. I don’t mind it, I like interacting with my community.Speaking of which, I would like to thank many of my fans, who have not only supported me through multiple kickstarters and years, but have also evangelized heavily for this game. Which given its adult content, can sometimes be awkward to recommend :D.We just recently passed 115k wishlists, which while being far away from AAA products and the most viral memegames, is pretty solidly top tier for a solodev adult cRPG. For a game mostly without marketing and game journo coverage, this is a tremendous gr…
- 85,000 Wishlists Reached! - 15 June 2026
Hi everyone! Wow, that was fast. On the launch date announcement, I set a goal to reach 80k Steam wishlists before the Early Access launch. We’ve already blown past that number.Vampire Syndicate is currently gaining thousands of wishlists per day. The algorithm has smiled on us.This is important because a healthy launch means a bigger budget for the game, which means stability, greater polish, more refined mechanics and the ability to bring in outside help. Up until now, the project has been almost entirely a pure solodev production. And while I think there is immense artistic value in a single, authorial voice, I’m also not too proud to ask for assistance. This is a massive game. I want very much for it to have the resources it needs. I won’t be wasting this opportunity. Let’s see if we can hit an even 100k before launch!Thank you,-ManlyMouseDan
- Early Access launch pricing - 11 June 2026
Hi everyone, Throughout my gamedev career I have tried to keep my games affordable, as my goal was to share this world with others. Towards that end, I have a habit of perhaps underpricing my games. I’m pleased to say I will be doing it again. The initial Early Access price will be decreasing from the planned 35 USD to 20 USD, with a small launch discount. This price is expected to rise throughout the Early Access process, especially once we reach 1.0. I made this decision because I don’t want my game to strain anyone’s budget, especially in our increasingly chaotic world. I didn’t get into games to make money (spoiler: and I didn’t). I make games to tell stories. \To my Kickstarter supporters, who already backed me at the higher price, I don’t take your support for granted. I am offering everyone who already bought in to this project at the 34 USD tier or higher the choice between the f…
