  Hi everyone, as you can see by the title Shootball Arena is going to become free in May. I'll try to briefly explain the reason why we had to take this decision. Our initial idea was to enter early access at a very cheap price, put in more content until the official release and so in the meantime increasing the price step by step: that's what we did at first. But sometimes you have to deal with unconfortable numbers and after analysing some data refering to our first month in early access it turns out that something is not working at all: Shootball Arena is an hybrid game that make it complicated to define a target audience and furthermore all similar games are free on Steam ( and other stores ) with a lot more content ( they are on the market for a while now ); for this reason, even if the game is absolutely worth the price, we have no choice but to comply with the market.   Hello, following our plan to release more and more content here we are with a new update. A gang of bikers is joining the arena: riding their motorbikes they can't carry too much weight of course, but the small SMG and the short barrel shotgun they can choose from are extremely dangerous indeed... I'm pretty sure some players will find a way to make good use of both. Looking at the image above you will find that we also added the nickname over the player's head... at least now you can read who's beating you :). Of course you will be able to switch on/off this feature in the option menu ( about the option menu, it is still in alpha stage and needs more work to be completed, so don't worry if you can see only few options at the moment ). • New contents and some improvement - 9 March 2022

  Hi everyone, we have released a new arena called Desert: it's in the warm desert ( but I guess this was already clear :) and it's the largest one at the moment ( we are almost ready for 3vs3... soon after the early access ). You can also find a new female character, Makoto; she is very fast and can choose between two new weapons: a nail gun and something like a big trumpet ( I don't know exactly, ask our concept artist please :). Makoto is playing in the new map. Now, changing the subject, we are working on stats and leaderboards: playing the game you will gain experience points; the more you win, the more your rank increases. Some players who are trying the game in preview are complaining that you can only sprint straight forward; indeed they are right, so we have removed such a constraint ( thanks for your feedback guys, very appreciated ). • Restyling and new features - 7 March 2022

  Hi, those who follow us may have noticed that we have replaced the gameplay footage and all the pictures in the landing page with better ones... we hope :). The reason is that we have restyling all the characters from scratch, moving from the old cartoonish to a new semi-realistic style which in our opinion better suit the rest of the game ( at this point you may wonder why on Earth we chose a cartonish style for our characters in the first place, but please... don't ask... really don't :).
