• Better Controller Support - 14 June 2024

  GIMME MORE I've added a better controller assignment function in the splash screen. It should now automatically be able to detect and assign the correct bindings/mappings for XBox One Controllers, PS4 via BT or USB and Switch Pro Controllers via BT (all on Windows, tested on Win 10 and Win 11). • Input Updates - 10 June 2024

  New Input The input system was changed. Previously the second keyboard input was shown for the input labels if the arrow keys were triggered. This is now changed and only the main keyboard input is shown. More informations were added to the settings and the editing was updated. It now explains that only the XBox Controller (XBox One, not Elite) is correctly supported. Other controllers will be added later. Cheers, Josef | ROKOJORI

• Big Update 2024 - 8 June 2024

  Welcome 2024! Oh boy! So much changed, that it's very hard to list everything! More than 50 tasks/features/bugs were processed since the last version. - Lob pass for volley shots - Graveyard Stadium - Online Rankings starting with one challenge - Complete Tutorial Guide - New Inputs mechanism (Super Shot & Super Skills) - Way faster loading times - Match modifiers - Many game mechanic improvements - Lots of bug fixes The whole thing took a while since tutorials and online rankings created some dependencies that were not that simple to resolve, so that it was hard to release a new version. Now everything is smooth again and new improvements can come in a much shorter time, hopefully in the next days! I hope you'll enjoy this update, it improved a lot! Cheers, Rokojori

• Early Access Release Update - 2 September 2023

  Crazy days! I hope everybody could enjoy the Early Access release of Dash Cup Kickers! Thanks to everybody supporting the game! It means a lot! Gamescom was very fun, but also very exhausting! Thanks for everybody being there! We had a lot of fun with our Indie Crew from Berlin & Brandenburg were really impressed by everthing. Unfortunately, we had some problems setting up the Early Access release, and released it accidentally for a short time as "Full Released" on the store page. Ouch! I am very sorry for any confusion, it was a stupid technical mistake and I blame the chickens! Seriously though, I hope the start screen in-game could resolve the confusion a bit. Good news on the other side, fresh new updates are awaitung us in the next weeks: 1. Interactive tutorials and 2. Online highscore matches! The tutorials will finally explain more in-depth how to do all the tricks, why the goal…

• Steam Deck Optimizations - 20 August 2023

  Hi, I am currently working on all fronts to squeeze out a very slick performance on Steam Deck. It started out with 20-25fps and now I can happily say it will run between 45-55fps (numbers are from the Steam Deck overlays). You can't imagine, what things can be a bottle neck for performance... There are still some things to do that I won't be able to fix, e.g. videos are not displayed at the moment because of compatibility issues, but in general, it is already very stable and a lot of fun to play. And I am so excited to be able to walk around on gamescom and let people test the game "on deck". Very, very cool! • Dash Cup Kickers @ Gamescom - 6 August 2023

  Welcome to Gamescom! Just in time for our upcoming Early Access Release! (Exact day will be announced in the upcoming days) I will be present in the medianet Community Booth (Hall 4.1) and I am very excited to meet you in real life. At the venue, you will be able to chatter with me and of course play the current state of the game with some fresh features. I won't be alone and will also bring some of my helpers to make it cozy. We will have fancy stickers and other cool things. I would also like to talk about the Discord Server and how you can give feedback and ideas for the developement.
