• Tales From The Unending Void: Season 2 will not be coming to Steam after all... - 16 August 2025

  Very sad news today. The second season of Tales From The Unending Void, which was planned for release this year has been rejected and banned by Steam after review. There are no appeals to this process, so I'm afraid this it the end of the franchise of three seasons on Steam. I'm looking at other storefronts like GOG to sell the remaining two seasons.Some background to the whole process: I first submitted the second season game build in early July. The game build was approved apart from some technical matters (a mature content overview that needed updating and missing controller support) on July 13. After fixing those issues and resubmitting I got the final review today telling me that Steam has decided not to publish the second season due to "themes, imagery or descriptions that we won’t distribute".I can imagine that you have been looking forward to continuing the story of Camran and h…

  This was going to be a much more upbeat update post, but the recent storm raging through the adult gaming world here on Steam and elsewhere has struck a rather sour note. This update contains some change to comply with Steam's recently updated content guidelines. I haven't made these changes lightly and I'd rather not make them, but I don't think it can be prevented at this point. Other than that this update adds a log of the choices you've made in the game, as well as episode summaries. The last episode of the season is currently in active development and once it's finished the entire season will be published on Steam.   The game now runs on the latest version of the engine, which should hopefully fix the troubles with Steam Deck some users have been reporting. Some render and continuity fixes in this bugfix, it's now also possible to view the extra scenes in the gallery by character instead of per episode. The game is now also available for macOS, but please not that the builds are not notarized, so GateKeeper will probably complain when running the game for the first time.   This release fixes the Steam achievements, which were broken in v0.12.3. Completed achievements should trigger retroactively when starting the game (based on my limited testing).
