• Release Patch 6 - 24 June 2022

  Welcome to the Steam Summer sale - I hope everyone is having a great week! This release patch adjusts a couple of sprite sizes to alleviate a potential issue with older graphics cards.

• Release Patch 5 - 9 June 2022

  Hello! This patch includes two new default steam input bindings: Left Trigger for Sprint and Right Trigger for Tendril. This should make a broader range of controller types more comfortable. Additionally, a new Challenge Map called TWISTED has been added to the game as a special thank you to you, the players!

• Release Patch 4 - 10 May 2022

  I have addressed an out of bounds glitch that could be encountered after certain scripted events ran. I will be wiping the leaderboard for the map "Below" that the glitch was encountered on to remove accidental leaderboard times.

• Release Patch 3 - 8 May 2022

  I have released a patch for a bug that would cause crashes if the "Saved Games" folder had been renamed to something that included a Unicode character. I will be monitoring crash reports for any changes that may result from this fix. Be great Dragon Ninjas!

• Release Patch 2 - 7 May 2022

  Hello Dragon Ninjas, I have pushed a second patch this morning to address a bug for recordings on levels that contain fans. The fans cycle between on and off and on successive map loads all fans started in the on position, even they were supposed to start on the on position. If a recording was made with one scenario and then watched on the second scenario it did not represent the playback correctly. Thank you!

• DNB is Officially Released! - 5 May 2022

  IT'S RELEASED! I made the decision to release Dragon Ninja Byoka to Steam in advance of predicted goals. Over 70 handcrafted levels are built and ready for you to play and I am excited for you to follow Byoka and his journey to avenge his fallen master and stop the Chaos Serpent from undefining the universe. Any issues that arise will be addressed with rapid patches. I will monitor the community channels for any feedback and hope to see you there! Please note that some patches may involve updating the game engine or levels and may invalidate playback recordings.   Hello Byoka Fans! There has been lots of action on the DNB development front -- actually there has been for many months already! It was not until well into development that the Steam Community was launched so I want to give a look into what you can expect in DNB so far, what has been most recently developed and what there is to come. DNB focuses on our protagonist, Byoka, the Dragon Ninja, who is seeking to avenge the death of his master at the hands of the wicked Chaos Serpent -- Zangul. In this pursuit of revenge, Byoka is thrust through time from a fantasy feudal Japan into a near future megalopolis where Zangul has been waiting on his arrival from the past.
