- Update 1.1.4 - 9 February 2026
GENERAL CHANGES Changed the dialogue label during the 2nd boss encounter from "I'm looking for Thomas" to "I know who created you" There are 3 different conversations for each of the bosses, depending on the order in which they are defeated. However, because two of those dialogues had the same dialogue choice label, many players who tried bosses in various order believed they've seen this dialogue already and skipped it. Hopefully this change will make it more clear that new facts were learned and new dialogue was selected since the previous boss has been defeated. BUG FIXES Save game corruption fix 1 - because of a wrong file access parameter was used, there was a small chance when saving the game, previous save content would remain in the file. This excessive and now corrupted data would in some rare cases be visible to the game while it was trying to load the saved state. This will n…

- Update 1.1.2. - 28 October 2025
GENERAL Updated Unity version. Tiger plushie puzzle's map exclamation marker will now remain visible until player collects the reward item; some people were confused with this puzzle and didn't realize they have to revisit the location to collect the reward. BALANCE CHANGES Enemy self-heal tied to an attack ("life-steal") will NOT trigger if the WHOLE incoming damage was blocked, or the attack was dodged. This is done to make some fights feel more fair and to provide players with more solutions and reasons to use shields to block incoming damage. If at least some of the incoming damage was not blocked, heal will proc as before. BUG FIXES Fixed a bug where there was a small chance (~0.00005%) of a "lucky" event triggering during the tutorial fight, breaking the flow of the tutorial. Added a global fix to (hopefully) remove or at least greatly reduce chances of animation game soft-locking…
- Difficulty Modes Update - 17 September 2025
Difficulty Modes The biggest change of this patch is addition of difficulty modes. No matter if you're a new player, or have an existing save file, you will be asked to make a selection. The choices are: Story Mode Combat is simplified, so you can enjoy the point and click experience. Tactical Mode In addition to puzzles and exploration, you also like tactical challenges. This is the default mode. Custom Mode Adjust all settings individually. (not recommended to new players) If you've already played the game a bit and you feel like you know what you're doing, you may try customizing the difficulty to your liking, adjusting the difficulty further, perhaps making the fun even more challenging. Enemies Health You can adjust the % of enemies health points, from 50% to 150% of the original values. Enemies Scaling Some enemies become more powerful as you progress, to match you - especially im…

- 1.0.3.0 - Bugfix Update - 23 August 2025
First of all, I want to thank everyone for the incredibly warm reception of Deep Sleep so far. For the last two days, together with the QA, we were working hard on fixing the bugs that had slipped past us and made it to the released version.Hopefully, this patch will help with some of the issues that have been found so far! We focused on the most important problems first, adding several easy-to-fix things to the pile.Fixed (or at least greatly reduced probability of) game soft-locking after a specific sequence at the beginning of the game (the so-called infinite coma bug).Fixed an issue with the freezer puzzle not properly unlocking the door in some instances. Please note, there might be another issue around that area, that has not yet been fully identified and resolved.Fixed issue with the game soft-locking while being interacted with several objects in a specific manner. Please note, we…

Hello everyone!scriptwelder here. If you've ever played any of my games, you probably know I like to mix genres and game mechanics. And Deep Sleep: Labyrinth of the Forsaken is no exception! We are just a week away from the launch on August 21, and today I wanted to give you a closer look at one of the game’s most unique elements: its turn-based combat. While Labyrinth of the Forsaken is first and foremost a point-and-click adventure packed with exploration, puzzles, and atmosphere, there will be moments where Amy must face her fears head-on. These encounters are handled through a tactical turn-based combat system.Turn-based combat? In my point-and-click? Horror without an actual danger is shallow. Instead of cheap jump-scares, Deep Sleep settles on setting a dark, eerie atmosphere, but that doesn't mean the world of nightmarish dreams is safe.In many horror games the main protagonist is…
