- August patch 0.26.1 - 4 September 2026
Text was moving way too fast - now it may be a bit too slow. A game-stopping error keeping the rocket grounded was fixed, and some UI issues were removed. A rebalance of some graphical elements should make the experience less overwhelming, and some behind-the-scenes stuff was done that shouldn't show before it's a problem.
- August update 2026 - 1 September 2026
I have been working on a bunch of stuff on the the hood, but the main thing is a small tweak to controls.Boost is no longer a button. Just hold full throttle — after ~1.4 seconds of sustained full gas (or during takeoff) boost engages automatically. Boost thrust and fuel consumption now scale with throttle strength instead of being all-or-nothing, so partial gas gives partial boost.Beyond that, A lot of polish has reached the landing UI, with fonts and more markets buttons falling into place. Some fun experiments, allowing me to scale orbital time with player velocity, essentially creating a virtual C.Data-driven ship stats — ship tuning moved out of the ship config into a ScriptableObject, so stats are authorable per ship asset.UI rework — working market/trade buttons, reworked cargo-item UI, and refreshed HUD / Landed / Persistent-HUD prefabs.Shipyard groundwork — added a "Kestrel" an…
- Hotfix for Linux and Mac builds - 3 August 2026
The build from last week had an error causing Linux and Mac builds to not work, which is now fixed.
- July update 2026 - 30 July 2026
Small things. Features:Improved readability in GUI (wip)Market values based on stock and settlement state3-5x increased performance overallSecret button to turn on greenscreenFixes:Particle transparency clippingLack of clear instructionsI've been debating whether this would count as a 0.25, or if it should have been a 0.24.5. In the end, I decided it felt right, so fixes and patches and a few cosmetic brushups is this months update! I also got a nice tan, but it couldn't fit in the game.Honestly, I really feel it makes a difference.Next month is dedicated to branching and temporary jobs, available through the bar probably. Blaze your own trail!
- Post-Steam Sale fixes and improvements - 11 July 2026
First Steam Sale is done! It was fun to participate, and I look forward to hearing what you think :) I've seen some hits on performance, so the game got a round of optimization. I also updated the narrative arc and the mission structure, I feel the introduction is getting there. Next step is economy, missions and upgrades. Leave a comment or join the Discord!
- June update 2026 - 24 June 2026
Happy solstice! As we are moving towards a fleshed-out narrative, a deeper trade system and dynamic encounters across the solar system, the months update includes a large expansion to the trade system, which may seem very subtle. Under the hood, production and consumption has been reworked completely, and now every planet has varying demands and production, which affects prices and reveals a wonderful and impossible puzzle across the inner solar system. While I figure out the balance of economy and gameplay, more enemies and event options has entered the game. The first tweaks towards a major overhaul of the story, including more characters and their home bases. Can you find you strength and finally beat Captain Croissant?
- Hotfix, performance - 18 May 2026
The component I was sure I had disabled, was suddenly not disabled. Chaos ensued. That is fixed now.
- May update 2026 - 17 May 2026
Finally, 0.22.0 is out!Issues with Ubuntu performance and a bug in an experimental feature had me hanging on to a buggy build with a huge amount of new stuff. Most significantly, Captain Croissant will occur later, and you can upgrade your ship more easily. Here's the changelist:Step drawer added to make editor GUI more readable and easier to navigateMore encounters and variations to encountersMore stations and upgradesMore environment and planetsHighspeed and lowspeed encountersAdded experimental quickfix to laser targetingGroundwork to multiple savesAdded simulated lagrange points and transfer windows Next focus is adding stuff to Mercury and Venus, expanding the story even more and looking into a market rework. Would it be worth it? Basically, I want to model capitalism in raw form. I know I can't without loans, stocks and suits, but I'm making general assumptions to build a personal…

- Demo Released! - 26 June 2024
After a year of work on this demo, I am finally releasing it to the world! There is still so much to do, but I want to let people experience the game where it is right now. The goal of the demo is to earn as much as possible within 10 minutes of landing on Earth. There is plenty of opportunity to cheat, but without doing anything shady, you should be able to get 100.000 after landing on Earth the first time. The game contains simple simulations of physics and economy, which interact to create a unique experience, where you drag heavy cheese from the gravity wells of planets. Please join the Discord, leave a like and review or just go for a highscore :)
- Pre-alpha closed demo launched! - 26 April 2024
