  • Atlas Ablaze is Free to Play! - 27 September 2025

Guess what! Atlas Ablaze is now officially free to play!I wanna thank every single person who has either bought this game or supported me through it's development. It didn't go unnoticed. Every nice comment, positive review, helpful critique, every time I caught onto it having an active player for days at a time, all of it meant so much to me.When I first decided I wanted to use game development as a way to portray this story, my plan was to make it free to play. Some of the people in my life insisted I charge at least $5 for it so I could make a profit for all of the work I put in. I knew in the back of my mind that I wanted to be able to reach a wider audience though, and not everyone has the extra money to spend on video games. The thought of it never really left me, and after realizing that I broke even on the money that went into creating and promoting Atlas Ablaze, I knew this was…

  • An Overdue Update - 23 September 2025

Important things first!-The font is completely updated-I added some new dialogue that I think will add to the characters' lore-I fixed a few drawings I thought were ugly-Feel free to contact me if you experience any bugs, see any new typos, ect. but obviously no one is obligated to fill me in on any of that. I just know I've missed little things in the past during updates.-However, since I did NOT learn as much over the years in terms of game development as some might expect me too, I've had an ongoing bug if you attempt to save over this particular picture, which I also should've redrawn since it too is ugly. Maybe one day. DON'T SAVE WITH THIS PICTURE ON THE SCREEN. THE SAVE FILE MAY NOT WORK. It won't break anything else, I promise. If you do, you can always overwrite it again. I'm working on it lolBOOOOOO LET'S ALL THROW TOMATOES AT IT!!!!!I'll look into how to make a minor patch to…

  • Updating some graphics eventually - 16 March 2025

You guys remember when I changed the font in the game to be easier to read? No? okay. Well, have you noticed that the font on the graphics in the game (like the dialogue box and Andi's phone) is different than the font in the message box? ... No? Oh, you don't care? Uhm- Well I'm gonna work on fixing it. You're welcome, I think. Also one of Iris's sprites are messed up from the sprite update and there's a typo I found. I don't know when this update will happen. I might update a couple minor things first, then come back and update ALL the graphics for her phone separately since that'll take longer. Just know it's coming, and there's a chance it'll break your save files. Again. Though I'm not sure there's even active players for this game. I'll warn everyone a week ahead of time though!

  • POSSIBLE FINAL UPDATE - 4 October 2024

This is very likely going to be the final update for Atlas Ablaze. Admittedly, I had plans to add additional artwork to the game, but after a while I realized that it feels complete as it is. Regardless of me saying this, feel free to let me know if you notice any typos, grammatical errors, bugs, ect. as I'm still willing to update the game if anyone really wants me to clean any other parts of it up. That being said, as a newer game developer, there are some issues that are common within the engine I use that I don't know how to fix. Please keep this in mind, because I've tried my best to make a game that works smoothly, but there are certain things I just don't know how to polish. For example, if you skip too often, the game may freeze. If this happens, by the way, you should NOT overwrite your last save in a spot where the game froze. It will not work properly. Thank you to anyone who…

  • Whoopsies! Part 2? - 8 August 2024

Apologies for another little update! I fixed a sprite and spaced out some of the text messages a bit more evenly. This is a very small update, but it had to happen. Kita's neck would randomly be skinnier because of one of her sprites being edited wrong and it was a little nasty. You know, I should really get beta testers again because clearly this is not a strong point in my skills. (Having enough of an attention span to notice a messed up sprite) https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GOTqyrOWwAAFrZN?format=jpg&name=medium Have a lovely night everyone

  • Whoopsies! Minor Sprite Fix - 28 July 2024

Hello, uhm, this happened. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GTnDUcSWgAANjNE?format=png&name=small I'm referring to her ear, by the way. I moved Iris's ear down in all of her sprites and screwed this one up a bit. I'm aware that updating twice in the same day to fix ONE character sprite might seem weird, but this one appears a lot. I did in fact just fix Iris's ear, as well as skim over tons of other sprites again. If any of my other sprites look busted, PLEASE consider emailing me at the email attached to this game's description. Thank you guys for your patience! I'm a solo developer and I've been the only one beta testing any of the updates for the last few months. I apologize for the mistakes!

  • Art Update 2 - 28 July 2024

Look!! This time I SPELLED UPDATE RIGHT!!! https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GTEV8haWoAAByqj?format=png&name=large This update not only includes 10 more pieces of art, but all of the character sprites are updated. THE UPDATED SPRITES COULD UNFORTUNATELY INITIALLY BREAK SAVE FILES. ANY NEW SAVE CREATED WILL BE FINE. I'm sorry for the inconvenience! It absolutely had to be done at some point. Andi's tiny ear was BEGGING to be fixed. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GSD0W18aUAAtt76?format=png&name=small Tada! Andi with a full sized ear!

  • ART UODATE 1 OF 4 - 23 May 2024

This is the first of four art updates I have planned for Atlas Ablaze. This one comes with 7 additional pieces of art scattered throughout the game, but I have a lot more planned for future updates. As heads up, I work pretty slowly, but I plan to have a total of 32 new pieces of art added into the game by the time all of the updates are complete. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GMyxSDlWMAAG_3l?format=png&name=large Enjoy!

  • MESSAGE BOX FONT UPDATED - 17 April 2024

Here's the update, later than expected but it's here! I toyed with the idea of letting the player select one of two fonts, but that is very much out of my range of skills. Instead, I altered the font of the character dialogue to be easier to read. Minor updates that come with this: -I fixed a few typos -A small line of dialogue was changed, but it isn't important enough for players to have to dig around for it Anyways, I hope this makes everything easier to read!

  • Additional Font Options Being Tested - 16 March 2024

One thing I'm told a lot about my game is that the font can be difficult to read, however, I really like the aesthetic of it and I know I'm not alone in that. I'll be playing around with some ways I can program in an option to change the font to something easier to read, but it'll still be pixelated and will probably only apply to the message box where dialogue between characters shows up. The current font I use will be the default. I'm not sure how long it'll take me as I'm still fairly new to game development. It seems like a simple yet tedious thing to add in. I apologize for not doing something like this sooner!! I'm going to start working on it ASAP. Thank you in advance for your patience as I continue to learn! And if you're not so patient, well- *cries until I throw up.*ːsteamthumbsdownːːsteamthumbsdownːːsteamthumbsdownː

  • Atlas Ablaze Demo Update - 1 March 2024

You read that right, new content is available in the Atlas Ablaze demo! Wooooo! It should look the same at first glance, but try playing through an entire scene then moving forward to the next scene. There's some sneaky little uh, some sneaky uhm, I snuck some uhhhh stuff in between the main scenes. And you may be thinking, "It's not sneaky if you tell us about it!" To that I say, you're right. I know. I'm just being dramatic but you should definitely check it out. I felt like the demo was too lighthearted in comparison to the full game, so I wanted to fix that without dropping any major spoilers. If you play it, tell me what you think!

  • Minor Visual Update, Typo Fix, Ect. - 1 March 2024

Just a general cleanup of typos, another minor issue I saw (similar to the last bug update) and some updated graphics. Nancy's design was updated part of the way through development and two of the scenes still included her old design in a few parts. This has now been corrected. Oh, and Brad hating? Smoother than ever now. Best it's ever been. You can now hate on Brad with even more ease.

  • Atlas Ablaze Demo is in Progress! - 23 February 2024

I'm working on a free demo for Atlas Ablaze that'll include some of the scenes in the game to give players a feel of how it's written. The demo will NOT include consequences, big spoilers, or any scenes where the player would use Andi's phone to progress. If you have any questions about what to expect in the full version of the game, I suggest either checking the "about this game," section of the store page. You can also email me with any questions you have and I'll try to get back to you quickly. Hopefully the demo will be out in a few days.

  • Minor Bug Fix - 23 February 2024

I fixed a bug that appeared in a scene with Brad where the dialogue wasn't progressing normally. Brad haters rise up! You can now hate Brad more smoothly.
