EVERING now speaks a new language, from today it is possible to play the full game with texts translated into Simplified Chinese. We would like to thank Shuyuan from TROW, who has made this laborious translation possible (EVERING has a loooot of text!). The game has been translated to provide the best experience, conversations, names and descriptions of items and skills, character and town names, side quests, menus, lore books... Phew! It's been almost 6 months now since we released the full version of EVERING and today we bring you the v1.1.0 update which includes a much requested feature. If you have left something unfinished in a previous area, you will now be able to go back in the Flying Thing™ and cross it off your list. We've also added a dedicated button (Keyboard and Gamepad) to directly open the Errands Notebook. We have also made some other changes, take a look: Return to previous areas in the Flying Thing™ (only available in the final stretch of the game). A new NPC awaits you in The Entrails, returning before making the final decision. Added a quick access to the Errand Book (E on keyboard, Menu/Select on gamepad, you may have to configure yourself for your current save). Today we are releasing the second EVERING patch which includes mostly minor corrections and fixes in the English translation: Fixed bug that prevented to learn Sanius magic. Fixed the bug that prevented to obtain the achievement Make a wish. Fixed bugs with a couple of achievements that were unlocked too early. Balanced battles against certain enemies. Modified the stats of some defense items. Fixed several translation errors. Fixed other minor bugs. We'll continue to make these corrections, however small they may be, because we want to make the game as polished as possible. Hi! Thanks to our amazing players we've fixed a couple of issues in the game: Fixed the descriptions of some items. Fixed the achievements for getting all the Recipes and all the Gambits. Fixed the problem that prevented to show the experience of the maximum level magics. Fixed a chest in Hills of Arlyr that appeared closed after opening it. Fixed other minor bugs. - EVERING v1.0 is here! - 28 February 2024
Today, February 28th, EVERING says goodbye to the Early Access label and welcomes the final chapter. - New and beautiful key art! - 6 January 2024
In anticipation of the final release of EVERING next month, today we want to show you the new key art we have created for the occasion. Here you can see the five main characters of the game, don't worry if you don't know them all yet, you will soon. The illustration is extremely detailed and the characters are incredibly expressive. Does that little town in the background look familiar to you? It was a must. This wonderful piece of work has been made by Adrián DKC to whom we are bursting with compliments. Also, you'll find new character portraits in pixel art style based on this new art in the game menus made by Jotaauvei (me!). We hope you like this new look as much as we do. - Release date announcement - 30 December 2023
That's right, the final chapter of EVERING will be released on February 28, 2024. This also implies the game is leaving Early Access. We originally planned to release it at the end of 2023, but it has not been possible to do so in a way that we were satisfied with the final product. This new chapter, with its new cities and plots, does not come alone. We have been working on a new main menu (which you can see here), a new skill system, a new intro, new cutscenes and side quests, remade scenarios... This final version will also include Steam achievements. Price change: As with every new chapter, the price will increase to match the game's content. This change will take place on January 28, one month before the launch, in order to offer a discount on release (Steam policy does not allow a discount to be applied until 30 days after a price change). Hey, Purpure Studio here! We've been a little off for a while, leaving a little aside social media and other interactions, but it's to work hard on the final chapter of EVERING and to be able to release it as soon as possible. Everything is going well and our plan is to release the final update before the end of the year, we'll give an exact date soon. We're also making major changes to the previous chapters, adding new side quests and other cool stuff. We are alive and working hard. The final update will be released before the end of 2023! - EVERING Chapter 2 is now available! - 11 January 2023
The second chapter of EVERING is finally here! 'Echoes from the Circle' delves deeper into the story and characters. You'll discover more about the Legend of the Hero, visit new towns and cities and meet more charismatic characters. This new content increases the game's length by 7-8 hours, which added to Chapter I brings the total to 12-14 hours! In this chapter Eldar and his companions cross the border of Onnya to reach Yest, where they will meet Laric, an apprentice alchemist who knows more than he seems to. Together they will unravel the mysteries surrounding the Legend of the Hero, although they may catch someone's attention... But that's not all. The wait has been long but it's not long now, the second chapter of EVERING is very close: January 11th! Echoes from the Circle will take you to discover the next episode in the journey of Eldar and his companions, crossing borders, visiting new locations and meeting new and charismatic characters. This new chapter adds 7-8 hours of content, reaching a total of 12-14 hours! We've also made a lot of changes, some small and some big, that we hope will improve your game experience. Hey, Purpure Studio here! It's been a while since we've communicated with you and we want to let you know that we are still hard at work on EVERING. Our plan was to release chapter/update 2 of EVERING during the summer but, clearly, it is not going to be possible. We didn't want to give exact dates to avoid having to announce a delay. After all, EVERING is not our main job, we invest our free time in it. This, coupled with real life situations beyond our control, has led to the fact that we have not been able to fulfill our original plan. We are happy to announce that EVERING is now on the Steam store! The game is currently on Early Access, and it will be updated as new chapters are released. You won't have to buy the chapters separately, you buy it once and that's it. We want players to experience the story as we develop it and to get involved in the lore of the world we are creating. The development of the next episodes of EVERING will take nine months to a year in total, aiming for a full game by Q1 2023. Once we finish a new episode, it will be published and available to play.
