• 1 Year of Civic Stories! - 29 July 2024

  Hey Civic Voters, This week marks the 1 year anniversary of Civic Story's release! As the Director, I first dreamed up Civic Story over 10 years ago. After a lot of blood, sweat, and (many) tears, Civic Story has now been out teaching the basics of politics, civics, and voting for a year with its excitable and colourful characters! I am still immensely proud of the game and my team. To celebrate this milestone, Civic Story and its soundtrack will be 50% off this week for a new Anniversary sale that will make you shout "Poppycock!". If you haven't grabbed it yet, now is the perfect time. • Stories about Civic Story - 21 December 2023

  Hey Civic Story citizens, It's been a few months since Civic Story's release. While Shining Spark Entertainment has been taking a much deserved break since our last bug fix, Civic Story has been making the rounds quite a bit lately. Our founder, Jordan Sparks, has been speaking to quite a few people out the game. A while ago, the head of the Facebook page "The Love Life of An Asian Guy" (LLAG) took an interest in our work and asked Jordan to come on his podcast a few months ago to talk about Civic Story and Video Games. If you check out his Facebook and Tiktok, he's also been posting clips from our chat for the past week, so definitely check him out. It was a lot of fun going on LLAG and we might be showing up again on their show to talk about other stuff later. We'll see! • Civic Story - Ver 1.0.4 Update - 20 August 2023

  Hey Civic Story fans, A new update has dropped to address small issues and update others. This Version 1.0.4 update features: - Fixed: Players with certain resolution monitors reported difficulties pressing the new game button on the main menu. From what we can tell, this glitch has now been fixed. - Small animation updates. - Small content updates. - Various minor bug fixes. If you have downloaded Civic Story previously, please update to the newest version. If you discover an issue that our team missed, feel free to report it in-game by pressing F11 to send us a bug report. We hope to address any lingering bugs through new updates in the coming months.
