• Patch 1.5.10: Fixed Gardener being stuck - 7 December 2025

  There was an issue where the gardener sometimes got stuck in a field, resulting in the player losing time to harvest the remaining fields. Thanks to two bug reports, this issue has now been resolved. The gardener may also run across fields, saving you additional time. Happy playing!

  Unity, the game engine behind most video games, has reported a security vulnerability that allowed some hackers to access personal information. Improvements - No more lag when upgrading items at a higher tulip count (5k+) - The "Choice panel" (if you've reached 1 billion tulips) will minimize instead of disappearing so you can still opt to reset at a later point) - Friends-only leaderboard filter - "Load more" leaderboard button - Help translate panel invites users to join the Discord - No errors if Discord is not running (should not be noticeable for the end-user) Enjoy! • Release + 1 month | Let's recap! - 8 March 2025

  On February 5th, Tulips & Windmills was released on Steam as free to play. We've released six big updates and countless on-the-go fixes, localization updates, and hotfixes. What have we achieved? Zoom feature Unlimited* amount of levels and upgrades *Reached a billion tulips? Get an achievement and a golden tulip, then start over with a boost. Otherwise, continue playing until your device gives up. Sinterklaas boost offers a 10% bonus instead of 100 tulips Leaderboard showing off your golden tulips and total tulip count Better readability of numbers (1,234,567 instead of 1234567) Better UI icons that don't look entirely pixelated Localization into Dutch, German, Turkish, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Russian, French and Frisian Works on more monitor sizes and in windowed mode Bug and crash reporting None of this would have been possible without your continuous support, ideas and feedback!

• 1.5 - The Golden Tulip - 22 February 2025

  NEW - Golden Tulips At 1 billion tulips, you are now offered to exchange your progress for a golden tulip and start from the beginning with an extra 1% boost on your income. The more often you reset after one billion, the higher your boost will be. This will also show on the leaderboard in-game. Improvements - Performance improvements - UI improvements (more icons!) - "Billionaire's Club" achievement detection has improved - Warning is shown when critical number values are reached - Your Discord rich presence now shows in your language (if available) - Slowed down leveling of the manual click multiplier and gardener Join us on Discord! • 1.4.4 - Hotfix of Infinity & Leaderboard - 18 February 2025

  Turns out infinity is not that simple! Many of you experienced issues with prices turning negative, leaderboards not updating anymore, or the game outright crashing. With this update, some of these issues have been addressed: New way of handling numbers! You should be able to achieve a much higher score and upgrade types instead of getting negative values. (Slight) performance improvements - let us know if you notice a difference. Leaderboard functions differently now and supports way higher scores as well. You may still notice some values being higher than yours in the leaderboard as they are old scores. In the future, we are considering offering the choice between continuing at 1 billion or resetting for a special reward and a 1% bonus for the next round (props to Puppy for the idea!).   This is more of a bug fix update for you all but there's also something new: You can now set your game to windowed mode and enjoy the autoclicker while working on your thesis or chatting on Discord! Boring fields? No longer! Tulips now populate your fields in various colors! Did your game get stuck on loading? You were probably too rich! Nonetheless, you will also be able to play again now.   Thank you so much for all your feedback, input and bug reports! I did not imagine that many people would try out this little game and even enjoy it :D Update 1.1 Features Zoom in using C (or bind a different key to this function in the settings) Increased amount of levels The Sinterklaas boost now offers a variable amount of 10% of your tulip collection instead of 100 tulips. Bug fixes Fixed display of UI elements on screens with a 16:10 resolution or worse ;) Please note that if you already have a savegame (older than 2 PM UTC yesterday), you may not be able to reach the highest level as your game will show you have reached the max level.
