- Patch - Unity Security Update - 6 October 2025
Hey crab fans, Unity recently identified a security vulnerability extending back to games made in Unity 2017 and later. Another Crab's Treasure is included in this - as of now there have been no known instances of anyone using this vulnerability for nefarious purposes, but we have now patched the game with Unity's fix to this issue, so you can rest easy your game should remain functionally unaffected by this patch.OK THANKS!

Hey CrabIf you saw our last post, you'll have seen that we've been working on new projects here at Aggro Crab. Proud to say the next game is- Coming June 16th, we're pumped to announce that our latest project in collaboration with Landfall is the next game that is all about friendship, doom, and hints of that Aggro Charm. PEAK is an online co-op climbing game where the slightest mistake can spell your doom. As a group of lost nature scouts, your only hope of rescue from a mysterious island is to scale the mountain at its center. Do you have what it takes to reach the PEAK? As we mentioned before, this is a different type of game that we've never done before! We're excited, and honestly can't wait to see your reactions to it. Hey crabs it's time for a BIG studio update. We made a video version on YouTube which you can watch HERE, but if you prefer to read - this is for you. In 2024 we released our largest game yet. Another Crab’s Treasure was Aggro Crab’s big project that we had worked on for 3+ years! We then released Year of the Crab. The team has enjoyed seeing your reactions to a certain mean snail and all the additional new features, including NG+. This content update was a way for us to add features that tied up any loose ends on the project. We've released a series of patches to address any bugs or stability troubles following the content release - so thanks for reporting in our Discord to help us navigate these issues! Fixed issues where Voltai and Petroch's achievements could be obtained without actually defeating them. We have received such an overwhelmingly amount of support and love for the game and we can't thank you all enough. We've been working our butts off on bug fixes since we launched, as well as some quality of life updates based off your feedback - and there's still more to come! There's even an update today that just came out to will help with save file back ups. BUT WHAT'S NEXT? Ok first off - next week our studio will be offline for the week! That means no patches or activity from us cause we're SLEEPIN BABEY!!! Got a fresh new patch for you! Most important thing here is some save file safety fixes! We'll occasionally get reports of save files being corrupted for one reason or another. Some of these we're working to fix, and others are much less preventable, due to hardware crashes and such. So we figured a good place to start is to add a backup system. If you ever need to access your backup file for some reason, it can be found in the same folder as your save file - but the game should load it automatically if something goes wrong with your main save. GENERAL :GoOver: Added a save backup system that should help stem the tide (haha) of people losing progress due to save corruption. Ideally in a worst case scenario, folks will only lose one save point's worth of progress instead of ruining their entire file. :GoOver: Fixed an issue where having no readable files in your save list would show "new…
