  SynCo 2321 Dev log & release information. The official release of SynCo 2321 is growing closer and I wanted to share the news! A firm date is not yet established but should be within the next two weeks. "Why hasn't SynCo 2321 already been released?" When SynCo 2321 was added to Steam I wanted to make sure all of the steps required to launch on the platform were completed. This was accomplished but as a requirement Steam asks for a launch date. While it would be possible to have released the base game at the date selected, it was more important to me that the game have an increased level of content before offering the game to players. As a gamer myself I felt it was important to meet a certain level of playability before opening the development process up by beginning Early Access.   SynCo 2321 Version 0.37 development log Expected release to Early Access: March 18th 2022 Adjustments to display for conversation dialog to permit more space. Ashville map locomotion events expanded to include more of the map expanding from the start position. Added Early Access load screen Updated internal references for Ashville, Sector 7 and Bunker intro. Gave the zombies some basic spatial sounds. Gate closed to prevent reentry to bunker location after leaving. Created Toxic region bounding radius to keep players from map edges.(Not enabled in 0.37)

  SynCo 2321 Version 0.36 development log Expected release to Early Access: March 18th 2022 Added zed spawning inside hospital buildings Updated navmesh Updated starting ammo to 30 + 8 in clip to offset starting challenge. Updated loot drop for Chapter 1 Act 1 to lower med kit drops and increase handgun ammo drops. Added particle effect to make data more visible until the hospital decor is completed.

  SynCo 2321 Version 0.35 development log Expected release to Early Access: Feb 23rd 2022 Fixed navmesh in hospital structures Adjusted track camera path positioning. Cursor unlock state toggled to assist with journal menu use. Fixed Kira conversation bug - reentering conversation immediately no longer puts the player in a position where they can not select the UI. Updated Chips conversation to disable dialogue UI before resuming. First stage initialization of Steam Achievements. New NPC with quest (basic function layout only) Temporary in game notification to direct use of journal system for quest tracking.

  SynCo 2321 Version 0.34 development log Expected release to Early Access: Feb 23rd 2022 Fixed quest/dialogue UI to correct display layering issue. Dropped loot like ammo and med packs will now be automatically collected when a player touches it. Removed debugging text from scene load. Kira NPC given initial encounter setup. (Known issue - reentering the area before clearing the last portion of the conversation will lock the conversation up.) Fixed First Aid Kit identification. Removed character during Chip's dialogue to prevent potential complications with zed interference.

  Expected release to Early Access: Feb 23rd 2022 Added initial quest to explore and tied it into the follow up. Removed backpack and bedroll from character start. Backpack/bedroll now appear during supply collection quests. New quest addition to continue storyline. no spoilers. Adjustments to zombies for balancing. mostly just took away their food supply which made them a tad bit more ornery.   Version 0.31b Developers Log Replaced handgun model to match setting Conversation framework now in place for dialogue Quest tracking and reference page ready Inverted Camera Controls toggle in options. Settings are persistent Pistol inverse kinematics adjusted for better grip position now that the pistol model has been finished. 1st Dialogue with consequences added. Chip pathing to bunker established NPC (Chip) engagement of enemies fixed. Quit game moved to options menu to allow for cursor unlocking. Sector 7 map added for exploration Transport truck located in Ashville to extract player and transport to Sector 7 New female protagonist. (No spoilers...ok no more spoilers...) • SynCo 2321 Comes to Steam - 30 January 2022

  SynCo 2321 Set to launch in February 2022 on Steam for Early Access. SynCo 2321 is a third-person action RPG shooter and is an independent production. Launching in Early Access will allow players and testers to use the Steam platform to stay up to date and provide players an opportunity to provide feedback. Early Access is anticipated to last between 10 & 13 months during the ongoing development of SynCo 2321. Look for a future announcement for more details on The development timeline. Part of the Steam onboarding process required a lot of custom resolution graphics as well as an approved trailer. Most of these are placeholders and will be updated in the future.
