• One year since the release! - 10 May 2023

  It's been a year since I released Running in the Y2K. In numbers, this game is probably the worst I have ever published, BUT, It helped me a lot. It helped me improve my skills making games, planning, missing deadlines... It is a step in my journey that has made my other games possible, and for that it has a special place in my heart. I want to thank everyone who has played the game, everyone who is still playing from time to time. Everyone that made it so hard to climb the leaderboards, I had to practice to beat you guys at my own game! I guess that's it, just a big Thanks for playing this game!

• Steam Deck compatible! - 25 October 2022

  As the title says, Running in the Y2K game is now fully playable on the Steam Deck! I have been testing the game on my Steam Deck and have done some small adjustments so that the game plays perfectly on the device.

• Ultrawide Support - 7 September 2022

  Added support for ultrawide resolutions. Has been tested in a 21:9 monitor, 32:9 should work but has not been tested yet. If you find any issues make sure to report them so I can fix them ASAP!

• 2 UP! - 13 July 2022

  Added an extra life to the game (you can now revive twice per run). Also fixed a minor display bug in the food indicator of the cave.

• Public Playtest Available Now! - 21 April 2022

  The playtest for Running in the Y2K is now available, download it for free and try it out. To join you just need to click on the green button "Request Access" and the game will be added to your library. *All participants in the playtest will have a special leaderboard banner to show you participated in the beta. That is all for now, stay tuned for updates as the game will release for free very soon!
