• Frog Fall Down Final Major Update (Update 1.3) - 13 June 2022

  Hello All, This is the final major update for Frog Fall Down. Any future updates will be for bug fixes and possible platform releases aside from Windows. This update completely changes the level/area mapping, adds new sub textures to each area, increased area height from 1800px high to 2400px high, and adds new puzzle and platform elements to each area. This will help to add a bit more length to the game, and diversify the areas. The store page has been updated with new screenshots and trailers to reflect this. Below are some screenshots of new and updated features, but mostly I encourage you to play through the game again for yourself as this surely will be a new experience compared to version 1.0.   Update 1.2 - Visual, Effect and Control Update Hello all, This update brings a vast array of new visuals and effects, as well as some tweaks to player movement. After analysing some positive and negative feedback I've found some areas to work on with Frog Fall Down, and this update will address most of them. Art and Visuals: The art and visuals were always meant to be minimalistic, so the major change here is new backgrounds have been added to each stage just to help out with the game looking a bit flat. These backgrounds also have parallax effects. A new impact effect has been added for when frog bounces off of walls or splats on the ground. Each stage now has some sort of particle/envro effects, including rain for The Sump, snow for The Glacier, dust clouds for The Dustbowl and The Meadow has falling leaves and moving clouds.   Hello all, Thanks for the mostly positive feedback on Frog Fall Down's release. This is a small update addressing a few key bugs and missing content. ~ Options and Titlescreens ~ - Game on first launch will now start in fullscreen. - Control overlay at titlescreen has been replaced with a 'Press Any Button' message. - Options menu has been refined, clicking a small cog on the titlescreen will display options. - Options are now changable by controller. - Controls can now be swapped between keyboard or controller. ~ Tutorial ~ - First launch now will start an intro/tutorial which will teach players the basic mechanics of the game. Players who have already started a play-through will skip over the tutorial, so they can continue their run even after updating.
