• Minor Update 0.6.1 - 27 June 2024

  Bug Fixes FIXED: The game would freeze / hang at the end of a level. The game now continues to run while saving happens in the background. FIXED: The leaderboard for Tokyo - Echo Relay was sorted incorrectly. Unfortunately the leaderboard had to be completely reset, but you can still see the ranking before the reset in the official Discord

• The Retro Rankings Update (v0.6) - 12 May 2024

  This update completely overhauls the game's visual aesthetics, adding lots of new details, optional filters, and even accessibility features. This update also includes the addition of steam leaderboards allowing you to compete with the world to get the highest score. New Features: Integrated steam leaderboards. Created heavily stylized dynamic lighting. Added atmospheric particle effects. Added more options to the settings menu. Motion blur Low intensity sensitivity filter Changes: Changed many levels to use gradient wireframes. Revamped the Déjà Vu effect. Stylized the bloom effect. Changed Tokyo's into cutscene. Added an into cutscene to Miami. Reworked most of the game's shaders. (This change should be subtle.) Objects which snapped in/out of existence when far away should now fade instead. Bug Fixes: Fixed bugs related to pausing. Cars will no longer get stuck on the jet in Area 51.…

• The Retro Rankings Leaderboard Battle - 9 May 2024

  Get ready for some friendly competition on Tuesday, May 14 2024 at 12:00 pm EDT. Sometime this week, we'll release the Retro Rankings update! Since this update adds leaderboards, we'll be holding a competition to see who can climb to the top of the leaderboard in certain levels by the end of the day! Join the Déjà Drift Discord The event will be hosted on the officlai Déjà Drift Discord Server and will be streamed on the BAR Interactive Twitch channel. To participate, you will need to own Déjà Drift. You'll also want to make sure you've unlocked as many levels as possible before the event!

• The Tokyo Update (v0.5) - 21 November 2023

  Turn the rubble from a Kaiju attack on Tokyo into your personal playground! Crash through the windows of skyscrapers to a J-Pop inspired Eurobeat soundtrack. With 4 new levels, new challenges, and even some tweaks to other maps, this update brings lots of new adventure! New Features: Added New Map: Tokyo. Added 4 Levels for Tokyo. Added new soundtrack for Tokyo: *Echoes of Your Love (feat. DJ World Domination)*. Added support for Kilometers. Added updated models to Miami. Updated graphics of some models in Area 51. Changes: Updated Unity version to 2022 LTS. Reworked the level select screen to show a list to accommodate the increased number of levels. Made boxes destructible. (Helps prevent car from launching into the air randomly.) Various quality-of-life improvements to the UI. Some physics-related performance improvements.
