Today we're excited to announce a spin-off/sequel to Chico and the Magic Orchards is in development! In Chico's Rebound, you'll go with Chico and his new friend Beeatrice on an adventure up the mysterious Celestial Tower! Inside you'll take on block-breaking challenges using your trusty walnut. Break all the blocks in a stage to move on, and deploy an array of returning and new walnut powerups to clear it in the fewest number of shots! In between those challenges you'll explore the Celestial Tower and all its nooks and crannies, and uncover the secrets it holds within! - Chico 3.0.0, Chinese and Japanese Localization! - 28 October 2023
A free update for Chico and the Magic Orchards is now available. The game has been fully localized into Japanese and Simplified Chinese! We are so pleased to be able to bring Chico to new audiences. If you are starting a new game you will be asked to choose a language, and you can select the Language option in the Pause menu to change your language at any time. A free update for Chico and the Magic Orchards is now available, including a Portuguese language option! We are so excited to be able to bring Chico to the Portuguese-speaking world. Today marks the launch of Chico and the Magic Orchards DX! This major content update for the game includes an entire new post-game campaign, A Hive Divided, in which you will power up your walnut to explore two new open-ended stages, rescuing bees and defeating the evil Queen! - Chico is Steam Deck compatible - 10 January 2023
Hello friends! This is just an informational post to let you all know that Chico and the Magic Orchards is fully compatible with Steam Deck, as far as Daikon Games' testing is concerned. While we do not yet have a "Deck Verified" status from Steam, the game gracefully supports the Steam Deck's 16:10 resolution, and all of the Deck's built-in gamepad inputs. Additionally, Chico on Steam uses Cloud Saves, so you can play on your PC and pick it up where you left off on Deck! That's all for now, look forward to Chico DX's release in just a few days! Good news everyone, a major free update has just been announced for Chico! Chico and the Magic Orchards DX lets you experience the base game in full color mode, and adds a new post-game campaign with two new exploration focused levels! There will also be a myriad of other enhancements and I can't wait for you to get your hands on it. The update is currently in development and planned for launch within the next month or two probably! Watch this space, and for now why not grab Chico while it's on sale so you can play the update right away when it launches?

1.1.0 Hello friends! Chico and the Magic Orchards 1.1.0 is now released! This is our first update with more than just bug fixes. The boss fight against Aviator (Cotton Clouds 2) has been reworked. It should now be more obvious what you need to do to defeat him, and hopefully more fun! We also have added a new widescreen game border, the GS Classic, so you can really lean into the retro! Announcement A free content update for Chico and the Magic Orchards is in the works! This update will add new features and a post-game campaign with new levels! More details will be announced in the coming weeks, but please look forward to it!

Chico 1.0.4 is a minor patch with the following bug-fix: When pressing a switch that made "Something happen in another room", then entering said other room and re-exiting before the "something" could happen, the "something" would never happen and you would soft-lock the level. Now the "something" will happen.

Hello friends! I'm pleased to announce that Chico and the Magic Orchards is finally here. This retro-themed adventure will test your puzzle-solving skills and your reflexes across 11 action-packed stages each with their own unique mechanics. I want to thank everybody who was involved in helping me get Chico across the finish line, and everyone who has shown enthusiasm for the game in the lead-up to it's launch!
