- Nature now includes Flight, Jurassic and Tundra - 2 April 2026
We've heard your feedback, and we're responding: Nature on Steam now comes with Arctic Tundra, Jurassic, and Flight included! Why the change? Some players found the base game on its own to be a bit simple, which was reflected in its reviews. We had overwhelming feedback from the Steam community that Nature really shines when you add in the Modules. In fact, 9 out of 10 Evolution players who try the full system prefer it to Evolution. We want you to experience it (and review it!) that way too. We've done a price adjustment on Nature, and it now includes the Modules. What this means for you: New Owners: You'll get Flight, Jurassic, Arctic Tundra and Nature in a single high value package. Existing Module Owners: You shouldn't notice any visual changes, but this will reduce loading times. Help us grow:If you enjoy the Nature Game System, please consider leaving a review. - Evolution vs Nature - 27 February 2026
It's been seven years since we released Evolution Digital. We continue to be floored by the community that's grown around it. We've also heard your frustrations: Runaway leaders that snowball their advantage. Expansions that can't be combined. Brutal experiences if you make a mistake. This is why for the last four years we've been working on the sequel: Nature. What’s actually changed? At first glance, the two games look pretty similar. But under the hood, we’ve rebuilt the engine to reduce "luck of the draw" frustrations, prevent runaway leaders, and make an architecture that allows for massive variety.1. Strategy Over LuckIn Evolution, like most card games, the deck could be your biggest enemy. You needed a defense, but drew 3 Predators. The Predator Deck: In Nature, predators are in a separate deck. You can choose to hunt whenever you want—not just when the cards allow it.Size Matters:…

Small bug fixes for the onboarding experience and fixes to the ability to skip the tutorial.
- Arctic Tundra is released! - 26 January 2026
The Arctic Tundra Module joins the Nature Game System! Arctic Tundra is available in a bundle with Jurassic and Flight for a substantial discount on the Nature Game System. Arctic Tundra introduces Cold Damage, where a roll of the die determines how much protection from the Cold you will need. Large species fare better than small ones, but Traits like Hibernation and Fat Tissue can help survive the extremes. There's little food in the Arctic Tundra, so Species will need new Traits like the ability to Migrate to lush forests. Beware, however, as Predators have also developed the ability to Migrate and can follow the herd.Arctic Tundra includes its own campaign with 27 levels and 12 new challenges. We've also changed the achievement system in this release per requests from the community. Now, the bronze medal on a challenge unlocks the Steam Achievement, but gold medals are still availabl…
