• Project Status: Team Changes and the Future - 16 May 2026

  Hello. My previous post, published last year, concluded with the hope of regularly updating you on progress. As you can see from today's publication date, reality has significantly altered those plans. I would like to briefly and accurately explain exactly what happened and the current situation for The Detective. What's been happening in recent months? The past few months haven't been kind to the development process. The team I mentioned in 2025 has ceased to exist. Our paths ultimately diverged, and I'm now completely alone on the battlefield. The team's dissolution, combined with everyday life issues and the need to focus on other, very urgent projects, has put work on the game on hold for many more months. • Returns - 17 April 2025

  Oddly enough, it's not like we decided to communicate with you only in odd years. That's just how it all turned out... Our plans turned out to be a complete disaster. 2024 wasn't a very good year for The Detective. You could say it was terrible. We also entered the current year, 2025, with not the best prospects... However, we are determined to complete the project. There have been some fundamental changes that - I hope - will allow us to resume and continue work on the project. Although, unfortunately, we are not sure whether we will be able to release the game this year. The first resolution is to launch a news channel - here on Steam. We are not able to support social media - but we hope that here we will be able to provide recent information about the development of the project. • Release delay - 28 August 2023

  Hello. We think you deserve a few words of explanation. As you may have noticed, we have changed the game's release date to 2024. We are a small studio, creating the project in our free time. Life always verifies plans - no matter how cautious they may be. Work is progressing, but not as fast as we would like - and unfortunately there's not much we can do about it. We want to finish the game and we will! However, we had to - we hope for the last time - move the date on which we will be successful to next year. We hope that despite this, you will stay with us and that the joy of the game will reward you for waiting longer.
