- Update v0.5.5 - Tutorial, Ghosts in Freeride and New Race Track - 30 December 2022
Tutorial The tutorial is now available and it will show you the basics of riding bikes. A more extended tutorial for tricks and in air control will come in the future updates. NEW Race Track There is a new track specifically designed for the tutorial. This track is a circuit and you have two new races to beat! Ghosts in Freeride Never ride alone anymore! Freeride mode will show random racers' ghosts going down hill. You can also turn it off if you prefer riding solo. Thank you! 1. Bug fix for bike going under map when starting a race from freeride mode 2. Loading screen added (To be improved in future builds) 3. Bug fixes for Urban map races bugged checkpoints. The checkpoints were in wrong order and this was causing restarts 4. Changed default settings - Default bike is now the Monster bike. - Steering assistance is off by default. 5. Hello Riders, Thank you for playing Down Fast VR while it is early in Early Access! Here is a small update which should make your experience a bit better. When you first launch the game after the new update you will be faced with a screen which has some options for comfort and bike control. There are even more options in the settings menu > Advanced settings. This patch also brings some general fixes for the default bike like making it's suspension better and improving the traction. Hey Riders, There is a small update this week which added some tire deformation and fixes for bike controls and stability. This update brings a reworked UI and more options in the settings. You will now be able to Mute all sounds or control the music volume. Updated camera tracking to get rid of the "floating" feeling which should help with decreasing motion sickness. Added an option to switch Depth Of Field. It is turned off by default. - Small update of Down Fast VR demo - 17 June 2022
As many of you requested I have removed the Depth of Field which will hopefully bring you a better experience and will get rid of all the blurriness. Another small change is made to the sounds. Removed the annoying sounds and added more musical genres to the playlist :) Hope those of you who disliked the original soundtrack would enjoy the game more :) The plan for the next update is to rework the UI and add sound settings, and skip song buttons :) If you have any suggestions feel free to contact me on Down Fast VR Discord server

Thanks to a feedback received from players I have added a new control scheme. You can activate it by going to Options and unchecking "Use legacy input" One more addition is the option to change camera tracking so that it doesn't track your leaning. This will give you a different riding experience and may be easier for some experienced riders in real life. Thanks to our small community on Discord the game is moving forward and I am caring for people's feedback. Please join our Discord to give us your comments and suggestions :)
