• Quality of Life Update - 8 December 2022

  It's time for an update with a couple of requested features, thanks to our wonderful community who have been suggesting ways to improve the game. This time we present two new features, as well as minor fixes: Improved replay and spectate camera You can now teleport around the map while in replay or spectate mode, to set up that perfect angle to capture your stunts and exploits. It is now also possible to snap turn in 60 degree increments, making it easier to follow crazy flight paths. There is also a new first person view in spectate mode. New chute pull mechanic There has been some frustration with chute deployments, as players accidentally press the grip button in flight. This has been a bigger issue on some controllers than others. • First Content Update: Steam Workshop, New Lines, Leaderboards and Achievements - 29 September 2022

  It is a little over a month since we released Mount Wingsuit 2, and it's been great fun seeing how our players do. There is a small but active community on our Discord, and you have far exceeded our expectations as to what is possible with high scores. We promised that we'd be releasing more content if there was enough interest, so here is our first content update: Steam Workshop One of our user complaints has been that the checkpoint lines are too easy, or at least far easier than they were in Mount Wingsuit. We figured a good fix for this would be to let you create your own, so we have made a Line Creator where you can save your own checkpoint lines and upload them to Steam Workshop with just a few clicks.   We are proud to finally bring you Mount Wingsuit 2. Getting to this point has been a long and surprisingly challenging journey, but we've had tremendous amounts of fun along the way. The original Mount Wingsuit grew organically from our love of flying, coupled with the wonderment of experimenting with VR, which at the time was a brand new medium. The beginnings of Mount Wingsuit 2 were very different; we more or less knew what we were doing, and had a clear vision to create a game with everything that was missing from the original. This was a far more ambitious project, and it has paid off. By far the most requested feature in Mount Wingsuit was online multiplayer, and implementing this has been the greatest challenge. • The online battle mode and new trailer - 13 August 2022

  We have completed our first release candidate of Mount Wingsuit 2, and decided to celebrate the event with a new trailer featuring the online battle mode. This PvP game mode is the culmination of an idea that we had way back when Mount Wingsuit 1 was coming together: Wouldn't it be fun to have wingsuit battles? We envisioned it somewhat like the motorcycle fights in Full Throttle, trying to swat each other out of the sky with chains and crowbars and what have you. As it turns out, this level of precision flying is extremely difficult, and getting close enough to touch your friend is a serious challenge even if they cooperate. Thus, while bumping your opponents out of the sky is still an option, you also get access to air-to-air missiles, drone strikes, teleportation devices and various super powers to make it easier. • Aug 25 Release Confirmed - 3 August 2022

  Work is progressing nicely with Mount Wingsuit 2, and all planned functionality has now been established in the beta. What's left to do is essentially a whole bunch of polish. Our current focus is the Multiplayer Battle Mode, which is turning out to be a whole bunch of fun. We're currently organizing tests and making footage, watch this space for more when it rolls around. Thus, we're well set to release on August 25, barring unforeseen hickups.
