• We're Just Getting Started - 11 August 2025

  Hi Everyone.I’m Connor, producer at COPA and Narrative Lead on The Department.A couple of weeks ago, we endeavoured to restart our TikTok account for the gaming studio. We didn’t expect things to blow up; we just took it as a given that that’s what you need to do as an indie studio looking to get a new game off the ground. None of us had seriously used TikTok before and, as such, we had some pretty low expectations as to what was possible.Welp, in the span of 2 weeks we jumped from 400 followers to 5.5k (and counting). We just passed 2.7k followers on Instagram and we got an automod show up in our Discord server because the algorithm assumed we were getting DDoS’d. It’s been a bit of a ride.Suddenly there’s been a surge of interest in the game, and as such we figured it was time we updated this Steam page and gave an in-depth update of where the project is. We recently took a trip to Brighton Eagle Labs thanks to the wonderful people over at Barclays Games.
