Game Overview: The Turning: Combat Challenge, is a 3rd person action combat game that takes place in a gladiatorial arena. Playing as Tal, the player will re-enact the final battle in Tim Fox’s Novel Scavenger Hunt . The player and enemy each start with a set of items that include a weapon, armor and a shield. Each item is unique and comes with a corresponding special ability. You will participate in a one-on-one duel to the death in order to secure your team’s position in the Tyrning. This game was made by four Drury University students using the Unreal Engine. Features: Interaction system that allows the player to mix and match with equipping different unique items Five equippable items each with unique attributes and special abilities Combo attack system for the player Intelligent enemy that can chase, attack, block and use special abilities. Advanced Niagara and Cascade particle systems for VFX Cool atmosphere with post processing, lighting, and animated crowd.
