Short description
UpRooted is a 2.5d action-adventure featuring a mage and a paladin fighting to hack a virus corrupting a forest. Play as two and fight as one stunning as a mage and slashing as a paladin. The forest may be wilting, but at least you're not in this alone.
About this game
A virus rewires the frayed roots of the forest, overwriting flora, glitching fauna, and changing the code of nature itself. Forest's mage Anaiah enlists the help of paladin Finn to hack the corruption rotting the Core. The pair must learn to work together, harvest The Additive, and reboot the Core to its natural state. Play as Two Fight as One Explore Anaiah and Finn's dynamic as you switch between a mid-ranged mage and a close-combat paladin. Never Fight Alone Though things feel bleak, there's still someone ready to fight by your side! Navigate Nature's Obstacles Slash through twisted roots and restore energy to flowers as you work through the forest. Master the Elements Harness the elements of Control, Stability, and Power as you search for The Additive. Discover a Pixilated Digital Forest Venture through a unique and detailed world of nature and neon in this techno-nature world. Here, technology is nature, with energy running through the roots of the forest. Pre Alpha Demo Notes Our demo is in a pre-alpha state, meaning this is just a slice of our intended vision, and there are lil bugs squirming around our dear code. UpRooted is in active development, and we plan to squash those pests! Along with bug fixing, our future focuses will be wired towards polishing our buddy and enemy AI, adding save systems, dialogue systems, new levels, creatures, powers, puzzles, and more!
