- Major Update for a full game - 25 March 2025
The time has finally come for a major game update. We've made the game's design more cohesive by introducing randomly assigned missions. However, it's not entirely random—your luck influences which missions drop from the pool. Completing all 32 missions marks the end of your workday as a delivery rider. Pedestrians now walk across fully rebuilt sidewalks made from 3D models. This should eliminate the bug where characters appeared to slide in place. We’ve also updated the controllers for all characters, ensuring smooth animation transitions. When approaching pedestrians, you will now see an emotion icon above their heads, indicating their current mood. There are three different states, each defining how the characters behave in the game. For example, some pedestrians turn aggressive and attack you if you nearly hit them with your bike. You can recognize them by the red angry icon above t…
- Struggling with soundtrack release ^_^ - 18 February 2025
Today, we fixed the timeline for all tracks for the Steam upload. It was necessary to match the track names with the timeline in the CSV file. The thing is, if your tracks aren’t numbered, the system won’t link them correctly with the names in the table. We finally submitted the corrected Adventures of Deliveryman soundtrack build for Steam review. Hopefully, as planned, we’ll release our soundtrack on February 21. We're working on a major update where our characters will actually walk on the ground instead of sliding like before. We’ve completely reworked the state machine for characters. There are also a lot of invisible actions in our game. For example, pedestrians have different states that trigger behavior—some get angry and start running at you. To help players recognize pedestrians' emotions, we gave them different icons that appear above their heads.

We spent the whole day battling interfaces just to finally upload our game’s soundtrack to Steam. So it will be released 21 FEB 2024 This soundtrack was created for us by Alexander Guryev over the three years of development. You’ll hear a fusion of old-school urban electronics mixed with unrestrained fun in it. Every track carries a hint of the early 2000s - a time when electronic music was revolutionizing traditional instruments. Our inspiration comes from the minimalist spirit of suprematism, set against the backdrop of an average Eastern European city. Some of Alexander’s tracks were written under different pseudonyms, creating the illusion of a simulated radio station playing through a portable music player. Your feedback and ideas are critical to us, as this is our first game. Please don’t hesitate to leave a review if you purchase the soundtrack!
