- Optimization and Spanish Translation - 17 December 2022
It's been about six months since I released Something Strange, and as my first visual novel, there was quite a learning curve. The original game was over a gigabyte in size, which for a VN is quite big. But I have learned much since then, and was able to shrink the file size down to a few hundred megabytes, just by changing the types of image and audio files. Along the way, I also made some changes to some of the gui elements, and implemented four achievements! Perhaps most exciting however is the Spanish translation. That's right, the game has been translated into Spanish, courtesy of the amazing Natasha Roca. You can find her on Instagram at natas.cream. Go give her support.
