• Demo Major Update - 9 January 2024

  Waiting for a long time! Our Detective: The Mountain City has a major demo update! Although some parts are not finished yet, the overall framework is done. We've added a main menu to the game where players can adjust settings, load, and exit. However, some parts of the settings page are still under development and being tested. The game now supports multiple languages (English and Simplified Chinese), selectable in the settings! A tablet feature has been added to the game, allowing players to check emails, maps, and case information, and save their progress. Many of these features are still in development and not yet fully perfected. Press the TAB key to open it! We've remade the dialogue and evidence systems. The dialogue supports branching conversations, and every choice could lead to a completely different ending! The scene transition system has been remade, making transitions smooth…

• Demo Optimization Update - 17 March 2023

  The demo is optimized for the low frame rate of the game and has been updated now. The game resolution can now choose 1080p and 1440p, and the picture quality can select high, medium or low. The following graphic cards have now been tested for performance (FPS): RTX3060 6G - 1080p - High Quality: 80 FPS RTX3060 6G - 1080p - Low Quality: 165+ FPS RTX3060 6G - 1440p - High Quality: 50 FPS RTX3060 6G - 1440p - Low Quality: 120 FPS
