- Wild Rumble Patch Notes 14/02 - 14 February 2025
Hello Rumblers! Welcome to the 14/02 Patch Notes! In this update we have fixed several bugs, implemented more gameplay options and balanced some aspects of the game. Take a look: BALANCE ------------- - We balanced the Awakening "Sturdy" (Your goalkeeper stays at 1 HP before dying). Before, it would trigger only for the first heart lost during the match. Now, it will be triggered for all the goalkeeper's hearts. - The difficulty of the rival AI has been balanced. The AI's intelligence level will increase faster than before, however, we have reduced the amount of Awakenings they can have, as well as the stats of their characters. With this change we aim to make matches against the AI less frustrating and feel less unbalanced. IMPLEMENTATIONS ----------------------- - Options menu has received some changes. Now, "Instant Abilities" and "Mouse Pass" can be found on the new Gameplay submenu…

Hi Rumblers! Welcome to the Patch Notes for 08/02! We heard you loud and clear, the game's AI needed improvements, and that's what we have been working on! That doesn't mean we're going to forget about it now. This is just the first patch to fix it, but we are going to keep working on AI, so expect more improvements in the upcoming weeks. Aside from that, we have been fixing some general bugs. Take a look: AI ------------- - AI will try to avoid Poppy's wall as well as other map hazards. - Improved separation between allies when attacking (to avoid stacking up with your teammates). - AI will react faster to your passes. - In higher difficulties, rival AI will try to evade your tackles. - Fixed a bug in which the AI controlling the ball wouldn't move. CO-OP ------------- - Now, when loading a saved run in which co-op was enabled, the player will be asked if he wants to rejoin those playe…

Hello, Rumblers! We hope you're scoring a lot of goals! Today, we're going to explain how you can play Wild Rumble with your friends online using Steam Remote Play Together. Whether you want to challenge the main mode side-by-side (up to 3 players) or play quick matches with each other (up to 4 players), you can do it remotely using this tool. Here we go! MAIN MODE ------------------ 1. The host player will have to activate the Co-op mode using the button enabled for it: Y on Xbox, Triangle on Play and C if you are using the keyboard. You can verify that the Co-op has been activated correctly if you see the text “PRESS START TO JOIN” in the adjacent boxes. 2. With the Co-op Mode activated, the host player can invite his friends through the Steam friends list (right click on who you want to invite and Remote Play Together). Players who join the session will appear in the session interfac…

- Meet the Rumblers! - 24 April 2023
Rumblers is what we call the characters of our game. They are anthropomorphic animals and the central pillar of our game. You see, Rumblers are unique and not just in appearance. Each Rumbler has a unique ability and stats that will make playing with each Rumbler a slightly different experience than the others. However, that will go in another post. We wanted the Rumblers to be a diverse selection of characters both in colors and sizes. Here is an image for you to tell us if we are on the right track or not. For now we have only 7, although we want to get to 12. Which Rumblers would you like to see in the future?
- With 3 changes we managed to make the game 100x times more fun. - 29 March 2023
Well, maybe not 100. I'm not very good at math. But that's not the point. Let's get down to business. When we started working on Wild Rumble we had one thing clear: We wanted teamplay to be as important as the individual skills of each player. In this devlog I'm going to explain how we achieved that: GOALKEEPERS WITH HEALTH BAR. When you shoot the ball, it will always be aimed at the goalkeeper, who will take damage and, consequently, its life bar will drop. You score a goal when the opponent goalkeeper's health bar reaches 0. CHARGING THE BALL WITH PASSES When you pass the ball to your teammates, you will see that it takes on a color. The color represents the charge of the ball. There are 3 possible charges: Green
