- checkpoints! - 25 August 2024
The main thing we focused on in this update is a bit of a rework to the checkpoints. Now when you load a level that you have already played, you will get a pop up that asks if you want to load the last checkpoint you found. Unfortunately because we had to rework the underlying system, this will only work if the checkpoint was gotten AFTER the update. In this update -Made new materials -Added outfit icons -Added a menu to load last checkpoint on replay -Added a better indicator for when you take damage -An "ouch" sound effect -A red border that flashes on damage -A jump effect -some general bug fixing

the state of progress We are working on an update to patch some of the bugs that were reported to us as soon as we can. We hope to have it out in a week or so. We have been working on Bodacious Agents for nearly two and a half years. It has been such a large part of my life and it saddens me that the progress has been so slow. but as we are a small team of two, we have to maintain day jobs as well as making this game. Price drop After some feedback, we have come to the realization that the price is somewhat high. And have made the decision to drop it to better reflect the game we are able to bring you. - Early Access Imminent! - 2 April 2024
We're pleased to inform you Early Access will launch this month! Everything is looking good, we are mostly waiting on preliminary processing. We've been keeping most of the stuff we've been working on under-hat, so expect some never-before-seen levels, new outfits, new tweaks, new features and polish, and more! - Quick Xmass Update - 31 December 2023
Just a few stocking stuffers while we were reorganizing our workflow and preparing for that Early Access release. Christmas came a little late at B.O.D.A.C.I.O.U.S. HQ, but we hope those few of you who played this December enjoyed the second coming of Halloween! Future Decembers should be a tad more jingle jangle, and for what remains of this one. In this update: - Christmas outfits and decorations at HQ (the Training level) - Fixed Halloween decorations subsuming all holidays (back to October, where you belong!) - A lot of groundwork and bug fixes mostly pertaining to future content (gadgets, outfits, new levels) - Reworked some of the girls' textures - Streamer mode (Censor mosaic) Happy New Year's Eve! P.S. We apologise to our players closer to the Eastern Hemisphere for the delay, and wish them a happy New Year!
- SPOOKY time! - 14 October 2023
It's Halloween at B.O.D.A.C.I.O.U.S. Head quarters, and in this quick update we added some new outfits, and the training level is decorated. We also fixed a few small things from the last update. Have a Spookful October everyone!

Our newest super secret agent, Sarah! An operative capable of great leaps and bounds! Equipped with her background as a world-class athlete, she is a truly towering figure at B.O.D.A.C.I.O.U.S. A tutorial plus two full feature levels (includes new level, The Mall!) Improved combat - Enemies Three all new saucy outfits for you to find! Here’s a sneak peak! Story? You got it! We made a whole system for cut scenes. It's got sprites, words and buttons! And the little things here and there that once vexed us. Like this little ledge-grab animation that now works for all available characters and outfits! We’re very pleased to announce that Bodacious Agents will be getting a significant update very very soon! Introducing Sarah, a world-class athlete turned superspy! We’re also super excited to be getting into the actual progression of the story and linking everything in a more finalised manner - Agent Gerts is on a mission to reclaim her friends from the clutches of evil. So evil in fact, they destroyed a mall! And so to find Saraah, she must delve deep into what was once her refuge, forever changed into a den of dilapidation and villainy! Sadly real life happens. my partner in game dev has had real life sneak up on him and the game will be delayed. We will continue to make the game to the best of our ability. And we will be continuing the development of the game, as we have an update to the demo in the works and is ALMOST ready. We thank you for playing the game, and the patience in this time. A little bit about us. We are a small team of two, we both have other responsibilities. As we are still doing this in our part time. I have no background in game dev and I am figuring this out as we go along. I am self taught, and only started about two years ago. While my partner in this, has a formal background in this.
