3 new characters join the fighters available in Boss Rush and Survival mode! Dr. Sitho, Koatl's ally in the game, also joins the fight, using mysterious iron arms that emerge from a portal. - New Game Modes Are coming!! - 26 December 2023
We are really close to the first anniversary of Koatl and the lost tunnels next January, we've added many things as the year goes on, like translation, little fixes and now we're gonna add two new game modes, Boss Rush and Survivall. Boss Rush will face you against 9 bosses in a row, picking weapons and healing items once in a while. Survivall in the other hand will throw you in a never ending rush of enemies spawning every couple of seconds. every 50 enemies defeated they'll change a bit and become a bit more dangerous. Look out for the drops each enemy leaves behind after dying, you can find small heals, big heals, stamina refill and the powerfull Xiuhcoatl, that destroys every enemy on the stage. The last 4 art books can be purchased at the mask museum A comic was unobtainable in the base game, we have added it to one of the tunnels An Letter from Evangeline could be lost if you didn't get it from its original location, since after a point in the game you can never go back there. Some of Dr Sitho's dialogues did not appear correctly with the translation

The first English translated version of Koatl the Defender and the Lost Tunnels is here! There are some parts that may require a little more work, but a first version to enjoy the game in English is ready. To change the language, just go to the settings screen in the main menu and change the language there.
