• DDB in 20 languages! - 26 July 2026

  Thanks to a bunch of translators, including volunteer ones, Dig Dig Boom playtest and demo will be available in a whole lot of languages! 20 so far! In addition to English, there's now also support for: - Catalan - Chinese (Simplified + Traditional) - Czech - Dutch - French - German - Hungarian - Italian - Japanese - Korean - Norwegian - Polish - Portueguese - Russian - Spanish - Turkish - Ukrainian What language are you excited about? :)

• GodotCon 2026 - Enemy attack indicators - 26 April 2026

  Development of Dig Dig Boom is progressing at a healthy pace, getting closer to the first rounds of online playtesting. To prepare for this, I ran some local on-site playtesting at GodotCon 2026, a game developer conference. The response was great! The other game devs had plenty of useful feedback and constructive criticism. It seems like the biggest recurring issue was that the combat system was confusing, unclear when and where and enemy would attack. Now testing a togglable preview system to visualize enemy attacks before they strike! That should help! What do you think?

• Game Developers Conference - 20 March 2026

  Hey, little update to show I'm still alive! I was recently at GDC, Game Developers Conference, which was fun! Dig Dig Boom is under active development behind the scenes and is making good progress! While the current demo version available on Steam is quite outdate by now, the new version greatly improves and expands upon the lessons learned from player feedback. Some of the things awaiting are new tools, new combat system, new biomes, new progression system. I've already showcased some of these things on other social medias, so keep an eye on that if you're curious of the earliest news. Soon to be largers updates here on Steam too!
