  Howdy Heroes, New and Unlocked This patch focuses on helping new players explore the game. We have made features unlockable to allow for a more gradual learning curve, and to show constant progression during the early game. Some changes help experienced players too, such as reducing dodge time consumption, and tags that remind players that there are new things to discover! The Nitty Gritty Clucky Dodge time consumption is now reduced to 10% + 10% per star back to 100% of the original consumption rate at 9 stars. Unlocked Chili levels 5, 6 and 7 are now locked behind 1, 2 and 3 stars respectively. The shop is now unlocked by collecting 400 eggs. Equipment select is now unlocked by purchasing an item.   New Challenges Have Arrived! Rock around the clock! Circles of stones have been spotted in pleasant pastures. Ooh pointy! Short walls made of wooden spikes now appear in lava levels. What the hex? Curiously glowing hexagonal walls now pop up in lava levels. Sinking steps! Lava steps now rise and fall, making it trickier to land safely. Heads up! Vultures now swoop down when Clucky gets near them. What does the blue flaming fox say? Red foxes in lava levels have been replaced with Flaming Foxes (and they’re blue!). Big Ol’ Balance Overhaul Pleasant Pastures other than the inclusion of stone circles in several levels, we’ve make some minor tweaks to pleasant pastures to make it a bit easier to get high scores.   Level Tweaks and Nerfs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, once I hit a fish and died. Fish are now far easier to spot than before, especially at high speeds. Fish spawn closer to the back of their block, the bubbles that spawn near underwater fish are bigger, and most importantly: fish jump all the time! 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, doggos get updated again. Dogs run speed now better matches their animations. Dogs with hoops now get more air time. The Nitty Gritty Quality of Life Added audio cues that play when your dash and bawk recharge. You can now see the items you have equipped on the end of run screen. The stars and eggs you have earned at the end of a level remain visible so you can check and compare how you went.   Overhaul to Game Speed and Scores Jump on the gain train. Game speed now increases at a constant rate, irrelevant of your game speed option. The game speed option now controls how fast you go at the start of the run. When the base game speed (1 chilli) catches up, your game speed will then start to increase. One score to rule them all. Now that everyone's on the same game speed for higher scores, this has removed the need to have separate scoreboards for different game speeds. You can now see all scores, even those from different chillies. Chilli out!
