Wilmot and the team have added four new languages to the game! They've also fixed some bits & bobs. Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese localization added. Added an option to enlarge UI text. Added the ability to disable the flashing piece placement hint. Added a high contrast color mode toggle. Added a neutral background toggle. Corrected the localization in some languages of puzzle titles intended to be in French. Addressed an instance where ghostly door knocks could occur. Cleaned up some instances of movement and puzzle piece rotation which could cause a puzzle piece to become stuck inside another puzzle piece.

Wilmot and the team have been hard at work at fixing stuff! Here's the details: Fixed umlauts not rendering above "o" characters. Addressed swapped keys on QWERTZ keyboards. The game will now ignore mouse cursor position when playing with a controller. Fixed prompt appearing if previous season's puzzles were removed from wall before unpacking the initial delivery of the next season. Fixed music accidentally swapping between tracks in marathon mode. Implemented limit on amount of pieces that can be pushed at the same time. The game will no longer duplicate puzzles when attempting to place them overlapping the front door.

- Chill Out with the Wilmot Works It Out Soundtrack - 4 November 2024
This OST is gently jazzy, bubbly, plucky, and now officially bundled with Wilmot Works It Out! Composer Eli Rainsberry cites Mort Garson and Will Wiesenfeld as inspirations, but they've also managed to masterfully expand on their Wilmot's Warehouse soundtrack. We highly recommend you check it out, and tell your favourite Postie about it too! We think it's the perfect soundtrack for a morning walk, a comfy moment at home with a warm drink, or a dinner party with close friends.

We are absolutely thrilled to be expanding the Wilmot-verse! Get comfy, sit back, and get ready to chill out with some puzzles and helping Wilmot make his house into a home! Wilmot Works It Out is available now! How did this game come to be, and why did the team decide to expand Wilmot's world? Co-Designer Ricky Haggett reflected on the development process for us: "We all really enjoyed the reception to Wilmot's Warehouse - people sharing their organisational systems, fan-art, theories about whether Wilmot has legs (he absolutely does)... and we also loved working with Finji, so once we finished I Am Dead, we were thinking of ways to revisit his world. During this time, we were also working on the Wilmot's Warehouse board game with David King and the folks at CMYK, although we had no idea at the time how close together those things would release. - Wilmot Works It Out review: a meditative muzzle on the box-stacking puzzle - 23 October 2024
One of my favourite internet jokes is: "I enjoy video games because they let me live out my wildest fantasies, like being assigned a task and then completing that task". Wilmot's Warehouse felt like that joke made manifest, putting you in the shoes of a tiny warehouse working squareboi. This puzzle-solving sequel, Wilmot Works It Out , doesn't come packaged with its predecessor's wry humour, nor the same sense of compulsion. Instead, it exudes a calm and homely sense of idle comfort. For me, that ultimately makes it less compelling, even if it is thematically the entire point. We all know Wilmot loves to put together puzzles. Don't believe us? Try out the demo! It's live as part of Steam Next Fest, which is going on until October 21! But we haven't been able to show off the decorations! Yeah, Wilmot lives in a 7 room house! Each new room gets unlocked when you finish a series of puzzles.
