Here are some more previews of the upcoming v.0.17 update, spoilers ahead! v.0.17 centres around meeting the mysterious girl from the forest and advancing the main story, and also Lydia throwing an impromptu party as England unexpectantly receives one of the hottest days of the year. You'll be splitting your time between making plans for the game's finale, and going to Lydia's, and you'll be accompanied by up to six of a possible nine different girls you've encountered from the story so far, depending on the choices you've made, for day where all kinds of things will happen. Hello everybody! The polls I put up on X and Discord showed that overwhelmingly people want an in-game walkthrough, so this will be added with the next update. I've been working on v.0.17 for the last couple of weeks. Originally I was working on Lydia's scene with interviewing her employees, but I'm really struggling to make new attractive characters. I've tried using the new generation of 3D Characters that I've purchased, but they just seem to look so much worse than the generation all of the current girls were made on. I haven't managed to overcome this yet, and I think the only solution is to keep using the current generation which means I can't use some of the new generation maid outfits I had planned. However, rather than grinding the wheels and getting further stuck, I've put Lydia's path on hold for now and focused instead on Ellie and co instead, and you'll be able to get her t…

Hello everybody, This week I've finished Bimbo's main scene for v.0.17, and I've caught up on a lot of admin stuff and completed several more pages of the walkthrough which is getting very close to being done. To save redoing it, I'm going to update it to v.0.17 (the next update) and release the update with an up to date walkthrough included from the main menu. One small bit of admin news is that I got the Reddit unbanned (nothing bad just lack of moderation whilst I was away) so if you get your news from there you should now be able to again. In terms of what will be in v.0.17 is that it will feature Monday morning and afternoon, with a scene with each of the main LIs (Lydia, R Steph, Bimbo (huge scene), Ellie, Vanessa, Jenna), a couple of surprises and several story scenes building up to the big finale! Defending Lydia Collier Development Log Hello everybody! As many of you will know, sadly I suffered quite severe burns on my hands with renovating the place to use as a new dedicated office, which put me in hospital requiring a lot of the skin on both my hands to be cut off. Even with the smaller dressings after the initial, essentially mittens, were removed, it ended up being a lot harder than expected to work and almost impossible to use a keyboard and mouse. I apologise for this and the lack of posting, I am a solo developer, hence why nothing was being posted, and the time away wasn't pleasant time for myself either. However, the good news is now the dressings are off completely and my hands are, almost, as good as new! I've used the time to fully plan out all the endings and final updates of Defending Lydia Collier, and here's some previews of what is coming so far! The next update…

Defending Lydia Collier v.0.16.1 Released! Thank you all for your patience, here is the latest update of Defending Lydia Collier and as long awaited, Achievements! This is the first thing I've ever released on Steam, and I self publish so getting these working has been a bit tricky. I believe the Steam Achievements are now all working, but if you find any that are not then please use Discord (link in the game's menu) to let me know. For Achievements, please start a new game! They are not retroactive. Hello everybody! Just an update on how the next update is coming along, and the last couple of weeks I've been focusing on adding in achievements to the game. I've got all the technical parts of it working now, and I'm getting close to finishing off all the reward images and sending it out for testing. With Defending Lydia Collier v.0.16.1 there will now be an achievements tab where you can view all the achievements, get a brief guide on how to unlock the ones that aren't secret, and as you complete them it will give you an unlockable gallery with each achievement granting you a new image. You can also press the portrait to turn it into a gallery of all the images. You'll also get an in-game notification letting you know the achievement has been unlocked, and all of these achievements will mirror with new Steam achievements that will also be added. Hello everybody! I hope you enjoyed the Defending Lydia Collier v.0.16 update and all the new content added Sunday evening. Next up with be Defending Lydia Collier v.0.16.1 which will be released at some point in May, an exact date will be set once this is in Alpha testing as it will require some more intensive testing than usual updates. Just to briefly cover version numbers, from now on the major number will only change when an entire day's new content is complete. "v.0.16.x" updates will be adding in a significant amount of new content or features, "v.0.16.x.X" updates will be bug fixes with no new content. Defending Lydia Collier v.0.16 Update Release! This update adds in the final new scene of Sunday, featuring Lydia and Ellie! Change Log: Adds in 244 new renders featuring Lydia and Ellie. Fixes multiple typos and dialogue errors. Fixes Vanessa's 5th scene in the Replay Gallery. Why v.0.16 and not v.0.15.10? All of the renders and scenes for Sunday are now done! Whilst I am still working on the coding/computer technical updates, I will now be working on new scenes, renders and content for v.0.17 to keep the game advancing.
