Progress is coming along smoothly for the most part, but in all likelihood the first few chapters won't be ready until early next year. While later than we had hoped for, the final chapters of Shae and Maeve's routes will be released on May 1, 2026.We apologize for the additional delay on these chapters, and want to thank you all for your incredible patience. Our goal had been to get these routes finished this month, but unfortunately one of our developers experienced a death in the family. Naturally, this took precedence over the release.Nonetheless, the routes are exceedingly close to finishing: Maeve's route is 100% done, and Shae's is only missing a CG, voice acting, and some editorial attention on the last chapter. Good morning, fateful friends!To thank you for your patience as we work to get Shae and Maeve's 2nd halves ready to play, we decided to give you all a free side story starring Brigid Féarglas (Shae's sister)! Here are the details:It follows Brigid on her first day as a handmaiden to Queen Aífe, picking up almost immediately after chapter three of Shae's route. - New Feature: Map Exploration - 19 May 2025
Good morning, fateful friends! We have a fun update for you today~ While you wait for the next content drop we have cooking — i.e., an 11k-word side story coming out on June 21 (for free!) — we decided to release our Map Exploration feature for you to try out! After you click on the World Map button in our main menu, you will be taken to a map of Tír na nÓg. Originally, this was all the World Map did, but now you will have the ability to click on various landmarks and explore the world yourself! Navigate between environments with the arrows, and as you poke around, you'll likely run into some familiar faces! If you click on them, they'll interact with you, and we plan on adding more short scenes/interactions as time goes on. We'll add more spots to visit as well! - Quality of Life Patch: Experimental Save System, Hoverable-Definitions, and more - 7 January 2025
Good evening, fateful friends! We're here with a quality-of-life patch for some new, highly requested features! Here's the gist: Experimental Saving: If you go into settings, you can now turn on a saving feature that will allow you to save your choices in each book. This feature is still experimental, which means we're still working out how best to optimize it. Nevertheless: Once this feature is enabled, a gear icon will appear in the book menus for Volumes 1-7. Clicking this will take you to a menu that allows you to save your current progress, load an old save, delete saves, etc. Here's a visual guide: Quick Definitions: When your mouse hovers over glossary entries (i.e. the green text), a quick definition or translation of the entry will pop up at the top of the screen. You'll still need to click the entry to access the audio translation, but if you just need a definition-reminder, t…

We're going to keep this update short and sweet since we already went over what new things to expect in our update last week, but here's the gist: This update consists of the first five chapters of Shae and Maeve's routes (Vol. 2-3). Don't let that chapter count fool you, though: In total, this update is about 100k words long! Featuring 175 choices, multiple scene variations, and plenty of romantic/platonic relationship developments, you'll have loads of content to chew on while we're finishing up part 2. Good morning, fateful friends! We have an exciting update for The Good People (Na Daoine Maithe) today! Specifically, the demo now officially boasts three new sprites for MC and Daonna!!! If you remember from our Kickstarter, one of our stretch goals was the ability to fully customize the appearance of MC and their mysterious doppelganger, Daonna. Sadly, we weren't able to reach this goal at the time - which meant that for the foreseeable future, MC and Daonna would be functionally represented by a single sprite. This was obviously not ideal, since this limits players to a single skin tone, hair colour, eye colour, etc., so after our Kickstarter ended we decided to go back to the drawing board and come up with a middle ground solution that was more realistic/feasible for us.
