• Development update #2 - 3 March 2023

  As the year is progressing, we are back with an update about our love project! The start of the year was especially eventful for us, as we moved to a new flat. This took up most of January. But now that everything is in order, we are back to developing Noodle Party in our free time! First mini game is ready Since the last post, we've finished our first mini game, created a common UI structure for all the future ones, and finalized all the related systems! We are really happy how everything turned out, especially the UI. We think it's really good to look at. Simple yet informative. Navigation in menu improved We made some adjustments to our menu system based on feedback. As you may know, we decided to do a rather unconventional menu system that is in 3D space. • Future - 12 October 2022

  Dear noodle friends, It's time for an update about Noodle Party! This summer was pretty challenging for us because of several things. First, the main goal was to reach a stage where the game's main systems are in place. Also, for the Tower Challenge mode to be functionally ready. We're very happy to report that this goal has been achieved! 🎉 We invited close friends to test the game and played many rounds. We received positive reviews and gained valuable insights on where to improve. ( Mostly UI stuff. ) The next difficulty we faced on our journey was the funding of the project. You may know that Noodle Party has a tiny team of 1,5 developers. (One full-time and one part-time developer). Around July we reached a crossroads. We had to raise funds for our full-time developer to stay on the project. So we decided to start a Kickstarter campaign so we can keep her on the project. Unfortuna…

• Development update 1 - 20 August 2022

  As promised, here we are with a development update! Quite a lot has happened since our last post. Game update With most of the base systems ready, we turned our gaze to the last main thing missing. The Tower Challenge Mode will have mini-games between the rounds. These games will vary in style and task. In one such mini-game you will have to use your reflexes to get ahead of your opponents in another, you will have to use your wits. These can turn the tide quite often, since not only will you be able to gain additional points but you can hoard special gems! These can grant you special abilities in your turn, for example, the next question you answer correctly will give you double points. Use them wisely!   What's up Noodles? The team is working hard on Noodle Party regardless of the summer heat. We are happy to announce that all legal challenges have been sorted out and we are going on Kickstarter! Busy days are coming for the team as we start working on our campaign page alongside the game's development. While we are really happy about how the game is coming along, because we are a tiny team, we have to work on a small budget. With the help of the community, we wish to make the game even better. We have many ideas and plans we will be sharing with you soon. We plan to give you regular updates here as well as on our social media platforms on how the development is progressing.
