• Several balance updates and new translations - 18 March 2024

  The game has been patched to more accurately reflect the scientific consensus on various values like land use and water use, to rebalance the difficulty, and to patch some bugs. Players should exercise particular care with land use in the new version, lest production shortages lead to their untimely ouster. Can you navigate more land-hungry solar panels, more electricity-draining EVs, and the limits of champagne socialism? Happy planning! We also have a few new translations that are in beta status: Japanese, Thai, French, and German. Also last time I updated the game on Steam there was some problem unique to the Steam version. Hopefully that's been resolved, but if not please send a message to [email protected].

  Thank you to everyone who's played the game. It's been exciting to see people's reactions and to see what discussion it's started. We have been taking note of bugs mentioned in reviews and are doing our best to fix them. We're an extremely small team with full-time jobs so we appreciate your patience as we get around to them. If you would like to submit a bug report to us directly, please send an email to [email protected] with as much detail as possible (what system you're using, what exactly you were doing when the bug occurred, etc) and any relevant screenshots. This is the best way to ensure that we'll get around to a bug as it's hard to reproduce bugs based on descriptions in reviews alone.
