• Mods Now Available through Steam Workshop! - 1 November 2023

  We've added official modding support and direct integration with Steam Workshop, so you can easily play and create your own Word Factori mods. To play mods, go to the Word Factori's Steam Workshop and subscribe to a mod. To access mods in-game, go to Options > Save Slots & Mods > Select Mod. On the save select screen, you can access a list of mods. To learn how to make your own mods, click Mods on the save select screen and select "modding tutorial", then play through the game. • Letter Factories are here! - 18 October 2023

  In this content update, we've added a new optional feature: Letter Factories. What are Letter Factories? Letter Factories allow you to select a group of buildings, and save them as a custom factory, which you can then place in any level. For example, if you place all the buildings to make an A, and multi-select them... You can save that building configuration as a new A factory. Letter Factories retain their building count and cycles, so they're typically not the best option for optimizing levels. But they make it quick and easy to build recipes you've already learned. How to access the Letter Factory feature Since they can have a significant impact on the play experience, we recommend leaving Letter Factories disabled until you've completed 3 pages of levels (you will be prompted once we suggest you enable them).   When specifying include_vanilla, the game is supposed to prioritize the changes in the mod, but this wasn't the case for symmetries
