• 1.0 Update | Leaving Early Access - 16 December 2022

  Hello there! The last 10 weeks where pretty intense. A lot has changed here in Berlin but more about that later. We managed to implement a lot of things that we felt was necessary before we could confidently call Ruadh: Warbands a "finished game". Those improvements where heavily influenced by suggestions of our community and helped us a lot, so thanks for that guys! While in Early Access we focused heavily on quality of life improvements and big gameplay changes in order to get the game to a stable and final form. This update is no different and therefore also focused on user experience improvements and bug fixing. You'll find all details to those changes in the changelog below.   Hi there, in the last couple of days we've come up with some major changes to the game in almost every area. Thanks for your continous feedback and helping us to make Ruadh: Warbands a better experience. Stay safe and healthy! Cheers Major Change - changed the worldmap to include some branching paths that'll provide additional upgrades for your warband - added an intro scene - added camera shake on hit - combat numbers improvements - supports multiple numbers next to each other - combat text for "missed" attacks - improved position, duration and randomness - added camera movement via WASD and arrow keys - added interactive turnqueue displays that move the camera to the selected unit Balancing Enemies Many Enemies buffed by 5 health points. • Hotfix 0.2.2208101508-ea - 10 August 2022

  Just a quick hotfix for some relatively major issues that came up in the last days. Major Change There was an issue where player couldn't enter the final battle. This issue has been resolved. There was an issue where enemies ended their turn without attacking a reachable player. This issue was caused by excluding the occupied hexagons in the pathfinding and has been resolved. Other Abandoning the current run is now protected by a confirmation popup to prevent losing your progression by accident. Enemy names are now shown during combat.

  We've released Ruadh: Warbands one week ago and the reception was amazing guys! Thank you so much for that. One of the major issues was that we had no real explanation what was going on in the game, especially on the different menus. That changed now with this update. We would like to introduce a weekly update cycle, starting with today. Hotfixes and other critical bugs will of course be fixed between the weeks.   Hey there! First of all we wanted to thank you guys for all the amazing feedback we've received over the course of the weekend.
