- Minor corrections - 10 June 2026
This update contains: 1. Fixed an issue where, after performing an action that costs an action point and leaving the area before the action point had recharged, the action point would not recharge unless a save game was loaded or the first round of combat had passed. 2. Corrected a few typos.
- Correction to the 16 February Update and a Typo Fix - 8 May 2026
In a short while, the next update will be ready.1. In the update from 16 February, the spell Dirt Arrow was changed to last longer and deal more damage. However, by accident, the damage increase at level 1 was made equal to the increase obtained with level 4 Earth Magic. This has now been corrected, so the damage of Dirt Arrow at level 1 now corresponds with the intended values, meaning the damage at level 1 has been decreased. However, the damage at levels 2, 3, and 4 has been slightly increased.2. Corrected a typo.
- Minor corrections - 1 May 2026
This update contains:1. A fix for the Nobleman’s Cloth armor, which had a fault that meant it would disappear after loading a game.2. A correction for the Always Run and Auto Move functions. Previously, when Always Run was enabled and Auto Move was used, the run button would stop working after stopping Auto Move. It would only work again after disabling Always Run.
- Minor corrections and modifications - 17 February 2026
This update contains:1. Correction of a few typos.2. For every 3 points of Constitution, 1 Combat Energy is granted. However, on the character creation screen, Combat Energy appeared to increase with every point of Constitution.3. For every 6 points of Wisdom over 20, 1% resistance is granted. However, on the character creation screen, it appeared to increase with every 4 points of Wisdom.4. In the quest "Fast Travel," choosing the "wrong" dialogue option did not mark the quest as completed in the quest log, even though the quest was completed.5. The damage of the spell "Dirt Arrow" has been increased. It now has a higher base damage and gains a larger damage increase when leveling up the Earth Magic skill. The duration of the spell has also been increased by one round.6. The Ranger’s class-specific skill called "Enhancement Dexterity" has been modified to grant 3 points of extra damage…
- Bug fix and some minor corrections - 11 May 2025
The next update will be released a little later today and will include: 1. In the controls menu, a typo has been fixed so that when assigning the right mouse button to an action, it will now show as RMB instead of LMB. 2. If a savegame was made and then loaded while in the second part of Etyrial, the loot objects in the first part would become bugged and lose all their content. This has been fixed. 3. The range shown from the player to an enemy in the info panel had a slight deviation from the distance measured by the system when making an attack. This meant that players could be out of attack range even though it looked like they were close enough based on the info panel. This has now been corrected. 4. The Smithy quest in Olhenvey Town had an issue where the final part of the quest would, in rare cases, not trigger—resulting in the NPC not showing up, and the quest couldn't be complet…
- Minor corrections - 24 September 2024
The next update is almost ready: 1. In the prison camp in Etyrial, one of the stairs was blocked by an invisible wall; this has now been corrected. 2. An HP cap of 2300 on the Regeneration spell has been added.
- Bug fix and some corrections - 29 July 2024
The next update will be ready in a couple of hours: 1. The achievement for collecting all the Ruga fruits did not trigger. This is now corrected. 2. The achievement for killing the Storm Witch triggered just by killing one of her clones. This is now corrected. 3. A bug that caused merchant item prices to decrease on loading has now been corrected. 4. The Angle Shot skill has been fixed so that it now fires undodgeable arrows as it is supposed to. 5. Inconsistencies between the icon and information text for the Power Draw skill have been fixed. 6. A few typos and spelling inconsistencies have been corrected.
- Added achievements and some minor corrections - 23 July 2024
In a couple of hours, the next update will be ready. 1. 26 achievements have now been added to the game. Achievements will not be added retrospectively, so only goals completed after this update will unlock the corresponding achievement. 2. A test function had been left active by mistake in the previous build, which caused the shield skill to increase to level 4 if a specific key was pressed. This has now been disabled. 3. In the wave battle in the Dwarf King's Hall, if you killed all enemies in a single round before all waves were completed, the sequence would soft lock, making it impossible to progress without loading and redoing the battle. This has now been corrected.
- Quality update - 27 June 2024
Update coming later today: 1. I noticed that some quality settings were not set correctly, resulting in an unintended decrease in quality on some systems. This issue is particularly noticeable in the environment ground textures, which become blurry at a very short distance. This is a method for the game to reduce performance load, but it shouldn't happen at a distance where it's noticeable. This update fixes this issue and also raises a few other quality settings.
- Minor correction - 26 April 2024
1. Corrected a bug that meant players could discard shopkeepers' items.
- Minor corrections - 24 April 2024
1. Corrected a bug where saving while having the shop window open would override the player's inventory with the shop's items. 2. If the inventory window was open when entering a shop, the player could not move after closing the shop unless the inventory window was opened again and closed. This has also been corrected.
- Added a new spell and some minor corrections. - 6 April 2024
Later today, a new update will be released with the following changes: 1. Corrected a fault in the Viper Den in Rasunda, where some ambush enemies were visible. 2. Added a new spell, "Guiding Light," which creates a light source that follows the party around. This addition aims to reduce the need for adjusting the brightness on some monitors in dark areas. It's a first-level spell in the category of 'Healing Magic' and can be obtained in the same ways as other spells 3. Increased the item drop chance on rats and goblins. 4. Slightly increased the gold drop from rats and goblins.
- New difficulty setting and some corrections - 16 December 2023
In about two hours, the next update should be ready: 1. The shield skill previously ignored the defense power bonus it provides at levels 3 and 4, and the informational text was incorrect. This has now been rectified. 2. Some players have expressed a desire for an easier game, while others have requested more challenging gameplay. This illustrates the challenge of finding a difficulty level that satisfies all players. To address this, “Easy Mode” has been replaced with a difficulty dropdown menu. Players can now select from “Normal,” “Easy,” and “Hard” options. The new “Easy” setting further reduces difficulty compared to the old “Easy Mode.” Note that this change will reset the game's difficulty to normal. If you are currently playing on “Easy Mode” and wish to continue at this level, you will need to go to the menu and select the new easy difficulty.
- Ranger update - 2 December 2023
In a couple of hours, I will make an update that adds some changes to the Ranger class: 1. The skill attacks that use normal arrows, like Heavy Arrow and Double Shot, are now undodgeable. 2. The skill tree option for 'Enhanced Dexterity' now gives 2 extra damage per 3 points of dexterity instead of 1. 3. When the Ranger reaches level 15, the class is granted a new passive skill named 'Mystical Arrows'. This adds different random effects to all the Ranger's ranged attacks. These include 'Cripple', 'Burning', 'Powerless', 'Weakness', 'Acid Burn', and 'Sticky'.
- Scale UI To Resolution, and some corrections - 26 November 2023
The next update will be ready shortly: 1. The item compare panel has been locked to the item info panel, so they always show up next to each other. 2. Screen match size now saves and loads correctly. 3. A new option called "Scale UI To Resolution" has been added to the screen resolutions menu. By default, the UI elements are set to scale in such a way that they more or less occupy the same space on the screen regardless of the screen's resolution. Then the match size can be adjusted to decrease the size a bit if needed. This is to prevent UI objects from becoming so small that text, for instance, becomes unreadable. However, this does mean that UI elements can seem unnecessarily big on high resolutions. Enabling "Scale UI To Resolution" will scale the UI to the active resolution, which in most cases will result in considerably smaller UI.
- New function and some corrections - 22 November 2023
1. The Shaman skill "My Blood Is Your Life" was only working when the shaman received physical damage. This has been corrected so the skill also works when receiving all other damage types. 2. The auto-walk function has been deactivated in combat. 3. Some enemies that were wrongly placed in Etyrial have been removed. These enemies had no effect on the gameplay, but you could never encounter them. So, after the new function that tells if all enemies are defeated in an area was implemented, they blocked the function from triggering in Etyrial, since there were always these two enemies left on the map. 4. When moving the inventory window or the character outfit window, the new position will now be saved. So their position won't reset back to default when loading a game. This will also be expanded to the character stat window in a later update. 5. A very small number of players have experie…
- Area cleared notifications, separate music/ambience volume control, and more - 18 November 2023
The next update is ready and will be available shortly. Here are the changes: 1. Added the ability to change the volume of out-of-combat world ambiance and in-combat music separately. 2. Added a function that prints a message in the information window when all enemies in the area have been defeated and looted. It also triggers when entering an area. 3. Added a function that prints a message in the information window when all loot objects, like chests in the area, have been looted. It also triggers when entering an area. 4. Made some corrections to prevent red slime in Dralavia from being able to spawning inside a cliff. There might be a need for further adjustments, so please let us know if you encounter this issue. 5. Added the Bastion as a location that can be traveled to using the town portal skill.
- Restore default keys and a few other things - 15 November 2023
The next update will be ready in about two hours. Here's what it includes: 1. Added a button to restore default keys in the controls menu. 2. In the controls menu, mouse buttons will now be named 'RMB' (Right Mouse Button) and 'MMB' (Middle Mouse Button) instead of 'Mouse1' and 'Mouse2'. 3. The tutorial has been corrected to display 'Middle Mouse Button' for free look since it was still showing 'Right Mouse Button' as assigned to this action. This was an oversight after the default keys were changed. 4. Corrected the symbol of the healer in Cathlana, so it now displays the correct one. 5. Fixed a few typos. Upcoming update: 1. I'm currently working on a function that shows whether all enemies have been defeated in an area and if all loot has been collected. However, this feature is not ready yet. I'm hoping to have it available by the end of the week. 2. I will also add the ability to i…
- Highlighting Enemies on Mouseover and a Few Other Things - 11 November 2023
The next update is ready in a few hours: 1. Made enemies highlight on mouseover, to make it easier to see which enemy is targeted when enemies are standing close together. 2. Added an option in the 'Other Options' menu to disable character voices. 3. Corrected a bug that was introduced in the previous update when correcting a typo for the item 'Mana Thief' that meant that the ring lost its ability to steal mana. 4. Corrected a few more typos.
- Town portal skill for the ranger, and some minor corrections - 9 November 2023
The next update is ready in a short while: 1. Added a new skill to the ranger called 'Town Portal.' This skill enables the ranger to teleport the party to any village teleport that has already been discovered. The skill unlocks at level 20. If your characters have already reached that level, it will automatically be added to the skill book when you load your game. 2. Corrected a minor bug from the previous update related to the auto-walk function. If you activated auto-walk and used the run key to set auto-walk to run speed, run speed would persist when the function was disabled and would only return to normal walk speed if the run key was pressed once more. This has now been fixed. 3. Corrected some typos.
