Rats in the Cage is an unorthodox satirical puzzle game. Its uniqueness lies in the corporate gameplay mechanics you use in the game, as your greatest weapons are - among others - coffee and gossip, which you can use to manipulate your co-workers. The game sometimes forces you to do... unusual actions that no other game (at least to our knowledge) requires you to do. And don't step on the plants! Unless you want "AI" to mess up your screen. In the life of every corporate rat, there is nothing more important than coffee! Whenever your coworkers have a chance to get one, they will run towards it. You can make them go wherever you want by giving them access to coffee. Who doesn't love juicy gossip in the office, right? Everyone wants to know who is getting fired and who is having a romance. Similarly to coffee, you can manipulate the path of your coworkers by spreading gossip, but this time you can place them anywhere! Just remember: no promotion goes without a dose of humiliation. It wouldn’t be much of a corporate game if you couldn’t stab your coworkers in the back, right? What do you do with inconvenient deadlines? You push them to block someone else of course!
