  • UPDATE RELEASED! - 16 November 2025

--- good news everyone ---Extraction Force has been updated fixing a bug that caused the tank crosshair to appear off-centered for some PC resolutions and Steam Deck users. It should now always be properly centered on screen. In addition to the bug fix a minor usability improvement was added allowing players to always have access to the vehicle control guides while driving, flying or rolling around the islands. To view the controls of the vehicle you are currently operating simply press and hold the TAB key. Release TAB to close the guide! Previously the vehicle control guides were only available to view while docked at your base.Also... starting today the price has been reduced! Time to move Extraction Force out of your Wishlist and into your Steam library.

  • Post Launch Development Update - 14 November 2025

Hello - quick post launch development update. A bug was brought to my attention regarding the tank crosshairs when playing the game on a Steam Deck. It appears to be an issue with UI scaling and may be present for CPU users depending on your current screen resolution. I am looking into this issue in addition to several other game design tweaks to improve the overall user experience. As of this morning work on an update is officially underway! To be perfectly honest and transparent though it will take some time before this update hits Steam. Thanks to everyone who has picked up a copy of Extraction Force and special thanks to all of you who have reached out with feedback and comments - they are always greatly appreciated!PLUS... good news everyone! In order to better reflect the current gameplay value for your purchase the regular pricing of Extraction Force is being lowered as of today. N…

  • Minor update released. Build 0.4.7. - 6 April 2024

minor development update // changelog for build 0.4.7. Fixed UI not scaling properly when playing on Steam Deck. Code cleanup and optimization. Added an auto-tooltip widget at the player initial input screen when the game is running on Steam Deck. This should prevent players from getting stuck at that screen. Adjusted game options that are available to the player from within the main menu in order to resolve a bug with settings not properly translating into the game. Fixed an issue with the visual appearance of the BOOT CAMP button on the main menu that caused players to believe their mouse cursor was stuck.

Hey everyone, first off THANK YOU for an incredible launch. This game was immensely fun to design/develop and my hope is you are all enjoying wrecking destruction upon your enemies in search of those missing nuclear launch codes. QUICK DEVELOPMENT UPDATE: I am aware of UI scaling issues when playing the game on Steam Deck. An update to fix this will be released soon. Please jump over to the Community page and post on the discussion board if you have any further feedback or notice any other quirky issues lingering in the wild. - Avery Gray Wolf Interactive
