After a week of research, headaches, and frustration, I have finally identified the source of crashes, memory leaks, and high memory usage. The culprit was the "latest" facial motion capture technology released by Epic Games called Metahuman Animator. Safest solution to use, was to remove the facial animations and replace them with a popular face censorship effect, which has resulted in no more crashes and significantly lower GPU temperatures and memory usage. Thank you for your patience. I hope this solution FINALLY fixed your issues. Additionally, as an apology for this very unpleasant issue, I have added a very atmospheric VHS filter along with appropriate sound effect. There's no such thing as a break. I'm coming back to you with what is probably the most eagerly awaited update. I believe I've finally managed to fix the game's crashing issues, especially the crash before the cutscene with the sheriff. I've made some improvements to the voice recognition and fixed a few minor issues. Thanks to your feedback on Discord, I was able to improve many things, and I hope this significant update will help you. - Optimized and improved perfomance on the entire level and improved LOD of some 3D models to ensure a higher frame rate. - Added microphone configuration option in the pause menu next to the Discord icon. - Added a game launch option to maximize your experience. If you have any issues with the game or it crashes, select the DirectX11 option when launching the game. If you have a powerful computer and no issues with the game, select DirectX12. - Optimized microphone settings to reduce noise detection and focus more on your voice. - Susan cannot attack you or react to the microphone from the moment you gain access to a weapon. - Improved Susan's AI logic and randomized paths. Day 2 without sleep, fixing and improving Supernatural, but it's worth it. Many of you are experiencing game crashes due to memory issues and other strange UE5 error pop-ups. I have found a couple of solutions that should fix these issues. SOLUTION #1 Right click on game app and go to properties: Then in the LAUNCH OPTIONS type in -dx11: SOLUTION #2 The second solution is explained perfectly in this video. I hear you and I have no intention of letting you down. I worked through the night to improve optimization in the living room and other rooms because there were significant drops in performance.
