Greetings Adventurers! As the year rolls to a close, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who embarked on this epic journey with me. May your end of year games be filled with joy and epic victories! Wishing you a festive season overflowing with warmth and happiness. Version 1.31: Implemented the possibility in Easy and Normal to show/hide the Dice Tokens, as the help linked to it (Hard always hide them). Fixed the missing labels "Start New Campaign" in several languages. Fixed the emissive part of the shader of the Tokens (it was a little too dark since 1.30).

Hello folks! This patch mainly adds the possibility to save a game to resume it later. In the pause menu select "Save & Quit" to save your game. When a save exists the main menu will show the option to resume the game. That option will disappear when you complete the game. You'll be able to resume the game on another device, like the Steam Deck, as the save files are sync on Steam Cloud. Thank you for a phenomenal year of playing and supporting my game! Version 1.30: Implemented the possibility to save and resume a game for both the campaign and the custom game mode, each with its own unique save. Added a custom rule enabling the removal of the obligation to move backward when unable to move forward. Added an option to increase the animation speed for dice rolls and piece movements. Rectified several labels.

Fixed an issue where a non-functional ninth Senet set was unintentionally accessible in the Customizable Board Mode after completing the campaign, leading to a game-starting error (Thank you, XTS, for your feedback on that issue). Version 1.27: Fixed the Customizable Board Menu allowing players to access the next Board before unlocking it through the Campaign. Fixed the Customizable Board Menu displaying a non-functional ninth Senet set after completing the campaign. Fixed the Customizable Board light values of Panehesy's Senet.

A small quality of life update. Version 1.26: Fixed the wrong end view when playing with Tutankhamun's ebony board (Thank you, XTS, for your feedback). Fixed the knucklebone position, which has been half in the table since the 1.2 update. Updated all the end view positions. Updated the dice animation, which now goes up a little.

Hey Guys! Sorry for the double update, I discovered another issue in Senet that doesn't actually exist on my end, but only on Steam. It was not intended for Tutankhamun's larger board to appear suspended in mid-air; its ebony stool was missing in the Live version. Version 1.25: Fixed the missing Ebony Stool for the Ebony Board (thank you Mr Sophistication for the Screenshots).

Hello there! Version 1.24: Fixed an issue allowing both the player and the AI to take the opponent's position on 27 and sending the piece to occupied House of Water (thank you XTS for the report and detailed feedback). Fixed an issue with the MipMaps of Italian language (better resolution). Fixed the texture filtering of Dutch and Spanish languages (both are now Trilinear). Updated the normal maps of the shaders of the main menu and the tutorial board.

Hello there! After the 1.10 improving things behind the scene, 1.20 is about improving things on the scene. Version 1.20: The main menu has been widened to allow labels twice as large. It will not affect performance. In fact, the textures have been optimized to be even slightly lighter. Expanded the language options by adding Japanese, Polish, Korean, Italian, and Dutch to the game, and Re-translated the entire game for the other languages. Added the Customizable Board, which allows players to mix and match all unlocked parts during a Custom Game. The actual boards found in museums vary in size, so for the purpose of the game, the selected pieces (pawns and dice) are scaled to fit the chosen board. Mainly a patch about improving things behind the scene, and fixing a few things discovered in the process. New feature allowing the player to play games by moving a pawn after each throw of dice (in Settings/Rules). Kendall's rules do indeed allow all rolls to be made before moves, increasing the strategic component of the game but rarely used in commercial Senet. Now you can choose between "Throws then Moves" as before or "Play each throw". Keep in mind that removing the ability to make move combinations will slightly decrease the difficulty, and the noticeable difference between Normal and Hard mode. Please also note that this new feature and the chosen difficulty are not taken into account for the tutorial, whose goal is to learn the main Kendall rules during a short easy game with 3 pieces. Version 1.01: Fixed a bug that could occur when the AI was not able to play a move, and led to the token visual staying on the screen (thanks to Pandamy for the report and testing). Fixed a bug that could occur when the player was on the House of Water and led to being able to accidentally pass your turn (thanks to Memnon for the report). Fixed the wrong focal of the camera on the Steam Deck, which was too wide. Updated the Tutorial (House 27, 28, 29 and 30) to add more details about what actually happen when you have a pawn on the House of Water (your other pawns are not defended anymore and they can't move). A centenary ago, Howard Carter discovered the entrance of Tutankhamun's Tomb on the 4th of November 1922. The boy king's treasures spurred renewed interest in Ancient Egypt, and is still one of the most famous discoveries in modern archaeology. We found no less than four Senet boards inside his tomb. Senet is turn-based strategy game meant for two players. This digital edition allows you to play the recreation of the game using several boards remade in 3D that are in museums across the world. The rule are not complicated, and therefore easy to learn. The game itself has no reading required. Truly a game that is family friendly, Senet can be played with children as young as seven and still has the challenge to keep it interesting for adults too.
