- New Major Update: Shared Threat Levels Within Factions - 22 May 2026
Hey commanders! Thank you for playing Mini Tank Mayhem. We have made some changes in this v1.1.0.9012. One of them is an improvement that many of you guys already requested: shared threat levels.Previously, threat levels were tracked per commander. So if Lt. Col. Kelana finished a run, only he would move up to the next threat level. Everyone else in the roster had to do it on their own, which could make the game feel grindy.Starting with this update, threat levels are now shared within factions. Finish a run with any commander, and every other commander in the same faction benefits too. Factions are still separate from each other, so you'll still need to progress through each one, but within a faction, you're all in it together. We hope this update will improve your progression speed and make the game less repetitive. If you have any feedback about this topic, do not hesitate to tell us.O…

Two are nesting on Floor 2, and the other two are waiting for you on Floor 3. Here is the full tactical breakdown of what you are up against. Prepare your tanks accordingly!Floor 2 Bosses 1. BuzzkingThis massive insect is an absolute nightmare for crowded squads. It punishes positioning and thrives on destroying your units. Abilities:Slows down all nearby tanks and deals 5 damage per second to them.If a nearby tank is destroyed, Buzzking heals for 20 HP. 2. SilverhinosAn absolute unit of a boss that turns your own firepower against you. If you don't burst it down carefully, it will run circles around your defence line.Abilities:Incredibly tough with a high HP, it automatically deals 5 damage bac…
- Mini Tank Mayhem | Patch Notes v1.0.6.8912 - 12 May 2026
Hey everyone!Another small but important patch is here. Thank you for continuing to play and share your thoughts with us. It helps us make the game better every day."Quit Game" Wording UpdateProbably our most requested changes yet: We updated the confirmation message that appears when you try to return to the main menu. There is a lot of confusion here. A lot of players think that if they quit the game, their entire run is deleted. Which is understandable, because it read like this: "Are you sure you want to return to main menu? Your current progress will be lost."Some players thought it meant their entire run was gone, including all progress from previous nodes. That's not the case! Your run is saved at each node, so returning to the main menu only means you will lose progress on the node you are currently in. We're sorry for the confusion it caused.Because of that, we reworded the sent…

Designing The First Card In any deckbuilder game, card design is crucial to make it more stand out than the rest. Our goal is to create a card system that is not only functional, but also visually distinct. Our visual department has clear concept in the beginning: a blueprint-inspired card layout that fits the aesthetic of the game, which is sci-fi. We want to show that the card conveys crucial information such as Action Points (AP), card stats, and clear card description. Additionally, we wanted the visual language of the cards to be clear and reinforce each type of…

We decided to go sleek, sci-fi holographic aesthetic at first based on the theme of our game. The initial design of our map is inspired by Slay the Spire map so we embrace the fully randomized maps as in literal. During our first private playtest, many people concerned because the flow of the map is lengthy to get to boss battle which makes them t…
