  Ships The Rock Play as a huge behemoth, that can charge and destroy loads of enemies. When your charge is on cooldown, you'll have to play more carefully as The Rock is slower and bigger than other ships, but you'll have extra health to compensate. The Vortex The blink ship. It's less tanky than most, but boasts fast shield regeneration. Whenever you're in a tough place, as long as you have your shield, you can blink forward, far away from the enemies. You'll also no longer be constrained by the alien prisons, as a single blink can put you outside of them. As long as you don't get swarmed with your shields down, this ship will offer you the best defensive capabilities in the galaxy. The Carrier The killer ship for people who love scaling or don't particularly care for aiming.   This update is pretty modest, as I didn't have a lot of time to work this past week. The Prism Every 7th level you get, an alien Prism spawns in your proximity. You can ignore it and go with saving the galaxy as usual, or you can break it to unleash random modifiers that'll spice up the game. Fortune favors the brave - for every prism you break you'll get a good chunk of data, with a small chance of hitting it big instead of getting any random modifiers. The Prism can do some pretty spicy stuff such as: Make enemies take only half damage from one of your weapons Shuffle your ship's class Turn one of your weapons into a shotgun Make wrenches half as common Take you down to a sliver of health, but reward you with loads of XP The Laser A new weapon that sends an array of beams that'll pierce through any enemies.   Weapons Pulse Blade - A blade that stays with the player's ship and deals lotsa damage up close Railway - High-damage piercing weapon that flies towards the player's ship Deadly Plume - Fast-firing weapon that deals with enemies behind you The Marauder This ship's best for people that like to hit slow, but heavy. Its projectiles deal double damage, are twice as big and all start with piercing, at the cost of fire rate. Start with a huge Pulse Blade and take enemies head-on! Flow This modifier enables a new play-style. It slows the velocity of all your weapons by A LOT, but also heavily increases their base damage and how long they stay on screen. • Time to release! - 17 August 2022

  We're about to release Galaxy Survivors on Steam. It's our first game and we learned a lot along the way. There were a lot more bugs than we anticipated and a lot of things that needed changing, but I think as it stands we have a really fun game that'll last you a good while. Of course, we're not done yet with the game - we have a good amount of content planned before we're ready to leave Early Access. We'll depend a lot on your feedback in the coming weeks, to make sure the game is as fun as can be. Leave reviews (even if they're negative!), post on the Steam forums and let us know about your feedback on Discord. We want to hear about all your ideas and complaints - we'll of course have to pick and choose what we focus on, but the more ideas we have to choose from, the better. The game will release 3 hours and 30 minutes from the posting of this, hope ya'll have fun!

• Movement Overhaul - 3 August 2022

  With the changes we've made to movement and shooting the balance of the game will have to be adjusted, but it seems like twin-stick style shooting will be the most fun for the game. Talents have been finally fixed up and re-added - these can be unlocked by maxing out a given pair of System Upgrades. They're all very powerful, but that power will be necessary to beat the later Multiverses. Other than that, there have been a lot of smaller fixes that are constantly happening before release. We have a lot of content planned in the hopper. Now that the game is a bit more stable, we'll be able to focus on actually adding new things, rather than just fixing stuff. See you on the 17th!
