• Demo conclusion on 31st. Skipping the upcoming Steam Next Fest. - 28 January 2023

  This post isn't really as gloomy as it might initially sound, but I have been observing and listening to player feedback on the game's demo, and decided that the best course for the game is to have its release delayed for a bit. If you don't know, Slap Squad's demo was supposed to participate in the upcoming Steam Next Fest, which would have helped a lot in reaching new players and extending the game's marketing, with a planned release in 2023. After initially releasing the demo, I have noticed a lot of players feeling frustrated about the game's experience, or just bored because of a repetitive game loop pattern.   Hello everyone! Welcome to the first look on Slap Squad, a physics based online brawler where you can slap your friends unconscious. The demo will be released on Jan 25th 2023. I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the game's content so far, and will await any feedback you may have. DEMO CONTENT The demo will include 4 levels, featuring the free for all "Last Man Standing" mode. Your objective is simple, stay alive and don't get slapped out of the arena! Use guns, explosives, powerups or even the power of your slaps to reach victory.
